searched this topic, and couldn't find anything. so if it's a repost, sorry...but it's more updated than the other ones biggrin.gif
.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:
:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.
it seems like cB is being infested (yes i said infested) with little kids! so if you're currently in college, about to go to college (meaning you just graduated high school), or you've graduated college, please please post in here. i don't wanna search thousands of threads to see who else is college-bound or already attending a university.

if you're attending or about to go, then please include the following:
--your name
--your age
--the college you're currently attending or will attend this fall (and location)
--your major
--what you plan on doing when you graduate

and if you're not in college or not about to go to college (you're in middle school or high school), then DON'T POST!!!! i mean it!
.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:
:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.
i'll start:
--joe
--18
--University of Texas @ Austin (hook 'em horns!)
--business administration/premed
--go to either business grad or med school, and then do something like investment banking or be a doctor of some sort (such as a orthopedic surgeon)

+ (Fae)
+ 20
+ University of Houston - Main
+ Business: Operations Mana and Mana.
+ Law school or the Peace Corps.

_smile.gif This is nice. There are a lot of kids on cB, not that it's a bad thing, but it's nice to be able to talk to the college peerage.

How about adding "major" to the list?

Name: Michael
Age: 19
College: Bucknell University (sophomore), in Lewisburg, PA
Major: BA Computer Science; possibly picking up a second major (either BA Mathematics or BA German)
Graduation Plans: Either working for the government (possibly in one of the intelligence agencies) or working for some forward-thinking tech company (currently intersted in Apple, Sun, SGI, or Oracle).

By the way, not saying we should resurrect an old topic, but I did actually make a post something like this a while back right here. wink.gif

I start classes on Wednesday. So lets breathe some life into this thread, shall we?

Name: Listelle
Age: 18
College: University of Maryland, College Park
Major: Biology, General
Plans: If I actually make it out with a degree in Biology, then hopefully go on to Grad school, with the intent of one day becomeing a teacher or a researcher. But if Biology doesn't work out for me, I'm also looking at getting into the Journalism: Online News program. If I walk out with one of those in hand, then maybe a job with The Washington Post would be perfect. I'd rather stay in the D.C. metro area.

Also I wanted to ask; how was the first semester of college for you? I've heard it was a complete shock from some people. How would you describe it?

^ Well, pre-med isn't an official major, it's a "track," meaning you take those corresponding courses but you don't get a degree in premed. And in order to graduate from college, you need a major area of study, so his is business.

i was trying to imply that most people do bio-premed or something like that never buisness-premed if he/she wanted to go to medical school IMO buisness wouldnt be of help to him that thats why i thought it was wierd
