Omg guys, I ahve my period right now, and i got up this morning feeling fine, I went to the washroom did what I had to do, I came out to the family room went on the computer, sat down started checking my e-mail, and all of a sudden I got the most painful perios cramp or ripping sensation inside my stomach, it hurt so much I couldn't stand it, so I ran bent over to the bathroom sat down then I started feeling as though I was goin to pass out, like a second later I went all black, I don't think I was out for long cuz I think my head hit the tub on the way down because now its throbbing, well, I stayed kneeled on the floor because I was afraid if I stood up I would pass out again, I stayed there for about 5 minutes, then I got back up and came out here, I'm still feeling a bit lightheaded as though I'm going to pass out again, and my cramps don't hurt as much as they did but they are there and I can feel them, I usually don't get cramps.

So after all that my question: Do I ahve some sort of diease, what's happening, I have had my period for 2 going on 3 years in like 3 months, and this had NEVER happened..

my health teacher said that her sister had cramps kind of like what you described and it turns out that there was something wrong with her uterus area or something?

i think you should definately get it checked, cramps suck ass but they're not supposed to suck like that.

^ There would be other symptoms if she did in fact have TSS.

No, nothing is wrong with you, most likely. I used to get those sort of cramps. Your period is just adjusting itself.

most girls get cramps... but if it's not normal, then you should go and see your doctor or something.

or you could just take midol/tylenol/advil or something.

Cramps are ususally to help push out the lining of the uterus, I get them a lot. It's generally pretty normal, and I get them pretty bad so I just start popping pain killers. However, since you've been having your period for a while and just started getting cramps NOW it could be a problem. It might be fibroids, which are tumour like growths in the uterus, so I'd get it checked out by a doctor asap. Also, if it's that bad, s/he can prescribe some meds that'll help take the pain away if it happens next time.

Well if you're really worried go to the doctors, but you can always take menstruation pills to relieve the apin of cramps. I take midol because it really does help.

you should go see a doctor, but in the mean time a thermal patch for cramps would help & bananas help too.

Well, the cramps are normal, it's just like me. I don't usually get cramps but on my last period, I had the worst cramps on the first day, but I've never passed out. I dunno; you may want to talk to someone about it or just let it pass.

No one on cB will be able to give you an answer like a doctor can. Your best bet of getting the right answer is going to the doctor.

allrighty. i know what it is..EXACTLY. every month when you have your period, an oven gets ready to release an ovum from your ovary. when it.."pops" out to go into the urerus, some girls can actually feel the popping thus cause craps. im thinking that maybe more than one ovum "popped" out for you. so that could be why your craps were so bad.
