Some questions about the image programs that all you layout makers are using. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 for the 30 day trial and I really liked it. I looked into buying it, but it got TONS of bad reviews. I'm looking into Paint Shop Pro...what programs do you all use? Does PSP have the same capabilities as Adobe, such as the brushes, etc? If you've used both, which do you like better overall? Thanks cool.gif

i have psp, and im on a mission to figure out how to do all the photoshop things in psp, but...i doubt ill be able to.

photoshop cs2 is getting insanely good reviews. it does take a lot of memory, which paint shop pro doesnt. but...if you can afford it, definitely get photoshop.

Ok heres what i would suggest you do , before you go off and purchase a program i suggest that you download the free trial of paint shop pro and use it . Then you can decide which one YOU like better rather than the ones we like. The program is for you so get the one YOU feel most comfortable with . Psp is way cheaper but i heard its easier to start off with . To me i can't do anything in psp its way to complicated for me but thats because i've always used photoshop and started with that. Pscs2 is good but it takes up alot of space. psp is also good , less space , and way cheaper.

I have heard that Photoshop can do SO MUCH MORE than psp. True or not, I dont know.

But dont listen to me. Listen to Toya. Whichever program you're comfortable with.

Who actually goes by the reviews anyways? Damn reviewers are so stuck up. Dont listen to them.
