Okay...I clicked on the link that said "View HTML"...the code still does not work. It's all crammed together in the text box...not separated, which I think is the problem. I want the code to come out like this code(not the layout, just the code):
http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=layout51_txw The box just screws it all up...It all needs to be separated, I think... http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=notetoself_04. Right now it looks like this. Try to put it into your look and feel and see what happens. I really need help..someone please help! I appreciate it sooooooooooooo much! Thank You! |

Well, first off, the code has multiple <br/>'s that aren't supposed to be there so that may be a causing problem. I put it in my look&feel and it seems to have done nothing.
Also, the last word in the code is wid and it's supposed to be a closing style tag. </style> .. .. .. |

It won't let me...The code doesn't show up, the actual layout does. I need a way to get it not so crammed together...like a bigger text box...something like:
http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=layout24_txw I want a code box like that doesn't cram everything together. Thanks. |

you can resize the text box
CODE <TEXTAREA style="BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #000000 1px solid; FONT-SIZE: 11px; BORDER-LEFT: #000000 1px solid; WIDTH: 350px; COLOR: #000000; BORDER-BOTTOM: #000000 1px solid; FONT-FAMILY: arial; HEIGHT: 300px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" rows=1 cols=28> WHATEVER YOU WANT IN THE BOX HERE</textarea> by using this |

the text box didn't make any difference....it's still all crammed together no matter how big i make it. It's not crammed in the actual weblog entry, but it becomes crammed together when i hit submit, and i do not know what to do...please...if you can help me, then i would greatly appreciate it. i have no clue what to do....the codes just screw up the sites...and this is starting to bug me because i want people to be able to use my layouts...please help me in any way possible! thank you so much!

uh, elaborate on what you mean by "crammed." at first I thought you meant it was too small, but now it has gotten bigger and you're still complaining. so what is crammed in your mind?

Now look at it....Can you see the code or does the header for the layout show up instead? Look at the second entry, please...Thanks... |

<br> won't work in a textarea because textarea disables all html codes and stuff so that you can SHOW IT.
it doesn't matter if there isn't a space there. as long as the code is okay and that people just copy&paste it. |

But there aren't any <br> when I copy and paste the code into the weblog entry, but when I hit submit, they appear in the textbox.
