This is so sad.... cry.gif Im a girl, yet, some people say I look like a boy....Because of my haircut...which is short.....And with my glasses on, I look more of a boy... huh.gif _dry.gif And just recently , my mom called me her son... stubborn.gif wacko.gif mellow.gif That made me feel kind of bad cuz Im a girl.

I just want to know....Has anyone ever felt the same way that I have felt? Or been in a similar situation? If so, please tell me about it. I would like to connect with someone who knows how I feel. mellow.gif

No...I've never experienced that..

Don't feel bad  pinch.gif I'm guessing, wait for your hair to grow longer, and just dress extremely girly..

Wait...but then you're changing the way you are...nvm...

When someone says you're a boy, tell them, "I'M A FREAKEN GIRL!! (or whatever it is you want to say)".

Once your hair grow, I don't think anyone will mistake you for a boy.  Is your hair layered, or like, extreme hair cut that looks like a boy hair cut?

*Bleh* Sorry I couldn't help much, just try to ignore everyone's rude comments, and remind them you're a FEMALE not a MALE!
*

*sigh* thanx...and yes, my hair IS layered... huh.gif

You can be girly and have short hair. Look at Mariska Hargitay. And try to get a more girly style for glasses. Like a light shade of pink.

And if all else fails, start stuffing your bra.

Change your style to flatter your more feminine side. Halters, shortshorts, tight jeans, tighter shirts, etc. Growing your hair out and wearing lipgloss and some makeup should help too.

And I'm sure that once you get older and your body fills out, there will be no more misconceptions. _smile.gif

I'd rather look more like a guy... but I'm a strange child, so that doesn't matter.

Try to wear something girly, wear jewelery, etc.

a few years ago my hair was cut way too short... and I looked just like a noy. Waiters at restaurants would say, "Sor, what would you like?" and it was so horrible... i cried and cried... the best thing you can do is wear makeup and dress in really girly clothes. thats what I did.

Aw-just try wearing more feminine things. Wear makeup. Stuff your bra. biggrin.gif
Don't get bummed. My mom's always calling me Alan instead og Alana. It's just 'cause she has a lot on her mind. I'm sure your mom didn't mean it.

yeah and keira knightley too, plus she's really flat so she doesn't have feminine curves but she still looks like a lady.

People like natalie portman and demi moore were like BALD but they still look feminine. Try adding a little makeup to your daily routine.

Something similar happened to me.. when I was in 4th grade, I had extremely short hair. I nessicarily didn't look like a boy.. but I once went bike riding with my mom. I wore a helmet back then.. and you couldn't see any of my hair under the helmet. Well, this lady was walking her dog and she had a little boy on a bicycle w/ training wheels riding right next to her.. and she was like to the little boy, "Oh, look at that boy! You'll be able to ride your bike just like him someday!" I never corrected her, but it made me feel pretty shitty cry.gif

Anyways, maybe you can wear more jewelry and dress in like skirts so people will know that your a girl. Also, you can try makeup.

Well I don't think I really look like a guy but to my guy friend's I'm one of the guys. I have mostly guy friends. Try dressing like a girl, growing your hair out. Wear a little makeup. If you feel uncomfortable doing that, just stay the way you are. Who cares what you look like?

are you a hot looking boy? no offence..
some girls can look like hot guys yet still recognised as a girl.
I'm sorry if that dosn't make sense, but I used to look like a guy at one stage where I got annoyed and grabbed a pair of scissors and ... whoops. whole chunk of my fringe and side gone. then i tried to fix it up.. and whoops. But it was fun in the mornings, short hair is fixable. You can always spike yourself two pairs of ears or 'horns' someone called mine.. or just wear a hat. happy.gif

I remember the year I went into grade 5, I think it was, I was the biggest tomboy ever and wore baseball caps with short hair. I was there on the first day of school with two of my much girlier friends and a teacher came up to us and said something along the lines of, "Look, it's three girls! No... two girls and a boy! No... three girls!... No...."

I look like a hot guy...I don't wanna be conceited, but I think I like looking like a guy than a girl. I'd totally bang myself if I were a guy. >__< I know, I'm weird, but yes, I look like a guy w/ large hoop silver earrings! My mom wants me to change my style because of the appearance I give off. Btw, my hair is pretty short, the front is wispy at the end of my face, but the back is shaved, it's about an inch long?

Don't worry, we can look like hot boys together. =P

Aww, no I never felt that way. But I've always been tomboyish.

You don't have to connect with someone who knows how you feel. You can find comfort in people who might have somewhat similar and yet different experiences. If you want to look more like a girl, you can grow your hair if you want or wear contacts. But if you think that's not who you are, you don't have to dress like a girly girl. Be what you are. You don't have to listen to other people who verbally punish you for that

There are a lot of people who look like boys that are girls at my school, but its because they dress that way. And sometimes they seriously look like girls and you cannot tell unless they like .. told you they owned a vagina or something.

But dont feel bad. Your hair will grow out and get pretty long and nice. And if you have a boyish figure, youll develop out soon enough :D

Next time someone thinks you're a boy, stick out your chest a little. That's what my sister's friend does since she's a tomboy and people mistakes her for a boy.

My little sister use to be called a little boy and simular to your situation was called a boy or my older sister use to call her their little brother Anyways,I started doing her hair up in bobby pins or just little things that would make her look like a girl and also doing her makeup look on websites for hairstyles you can do with short hair.etc...Hope that helped a bit!
