kay so im new to photoshop annd i was looking through all the tutorials on it and i still cant find out how to "unlock" layers annd i cant figure out how to make the backrounds on my pictures transparent so i can blend them
help anyone? |

![]() Click that --> that's for normal layers though.... Oh. Background layers are always locked. If you dont want them, when making a new document go to file >> new >> Background color/contents: and change that to transparent. and what exactly does everyone mean by the transparent backgrounds? |

blending
i went there and tried to blend the pictures she used but when i did it, the backrounds stayed white and didnt turn transparent like hers did, get it lol? sorry if i confused you |

yea but how do you just 'cut out' the pic part to add it to a backround then?

Well let's see, you can use the want, or the pen tool, or a lasso. polygonal will prolly work better. |
