Goodness, it's a three way tie between Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. They've all got fantastic law programs.

I'm going to have to go with Stanford. It's really close to where I live now, so I can run home to Mom if I get scared of big bad college.

If I had to pick one of those, I'd go with Stanford, just because I like that area.

I don't really know about those schools. I like SWAC schools like JSU and UAPB. I also like UT (Tennessee), MSU (Miss. State), and UF (Florida). I guess if I had to choose one it would be Harvard or Princeton.

Alright out of the ivy leagers...I'd say UPENN. It has a beautiful campus, and I love Philly oh so much.

Yale has a gorgeous campus, but New Haven is such a shady town.
Stanford is also very beautiful, and the weather is just about perfect all the time.
Princeton is in a cute little town, but I don't like its campus. However, the college itself offers interesting courses. The only downside is that Princeton is extremely elitist and you're not cool unless you wear lacoste and own an LV purse.

So uhm yes, UPENN.

most of them are ivys, so they're just labeled as "great."
but sadly, a graduate from harvard is more impressive than a graduate from a state school to a lot of companies.

I wanted to go major in Princeton University. But since, I've been lagging in High School absents. I probably not get there. It was my goal to go to that college. But now it's changed to go to FIDM Los Angeles. But... right now I don't know. Because of the sketching part that I don't like. I just want to be a graphic designer like Roxanne. So I probably just attend Community colleges that are good to go.

Columbia! Plus, it's in NY, that's great! But, knowing me, I'm already set on Parsons...But, that wasn't a big college listed. I used to live in north Jersey, but now I'm in south, which is closer to UPenn...UPenn is what, in the top 10 college in America?...It's expensive as Hell though. If I wanted to get into culinary arts, I'd go to UPenn, great course. =]

UCLA, its big on medical. You should put USC for one of the options! _smile.gif

USC isn't one of the options because it's not one of the top 10 National Universities.

This is the top ten list by US News:
1. Harvard University
1. Princeton University
3. Yale University
4. University of Pennsylvania (UPenn)
5. Duke University
6. Stanford University
7. California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
8. Massachusetts Inst. of Technology (MIT)
9. Columbia University
9. Dartmouth College

So as you see, Harvard and Princeton are ranked the same, as is Columbia and Dartmouth. Therefore, the poll list isn't exactly the correct listing of the top 10 National Universities in the U.S.

For those who are not in college yet, out of these 10 greatest colleges, which one do you prefer to go to? Tough, huh? ermm.gif Well..i live jersey so..i guess princeton and columbia are the closest..i choose columbia.. happy.gif But if I lived in MA, i would definetely choose Harvard.

These are not necessarily the 10 greatest colleges.

Top 10 National Universities (according to U.S. News' 2006 Edition of "America's Best Colleges")

1. Harvard
1. Princeton (tie)
3. Yale
4. UPenn
5. Duke
5. Stanford (tie)
7. CalTech
7. MIT (tie)
9. Columbia
9. Dartmouth (tie)

But let me go on to 25 to get to the lowest ranked school in this poll.

11. Washington in StL
12. Northwestern
13. Cornell
13. Johns Hopkins (tie)
15. Brown
15. UChicago (tie)
17. Rice
18. Notre Dame
18. Vanderbilt (tie)
20. Emory
20. UC-Berkeley (tie)
22. Carnegie-Mellon
23. Georgetown
23. Virginia (tie)
25. UCLA
25. Michigan (tie)

I would love to go to Harvard because that's were daddy went, but I'm going to DU which is still a good school. Top 100 in the nation.
