just something I wrote one day...
tell me what you think We are the hopeless We trust delusions Because we cannot face facts We search for answers But we don’t even know the question Is it truly our delusions That cause us such pain Or merely our inability to see through To the truths buried Beneath their clever disguises We search in darkness But we don’t search in vain The darkness reveals the truths we seek But why do we seek What cannot bring happiness Why do we search When we have nothing to find Why do we dream When we know there is No hope of fulfillment Why do we live When we know all good Lies in death It is because We are the hopeless And our delusions Are the only things we have |
