how can i save my new image as a .gif in photo shop cs2. there's .png, .tif & .tiff but i need the save the transparent background

go to
file >. save for web... make sure its on .gif and yea change the settings to what you want. try that |

Or you can transfer it to Imageready and (try to) save there.

i saved it for the web before, but everythign with a transparent background had a white haze around it. but somehow when i opened it yesterday everything was different. when i went to save, i could save as a .gif & .jpeg without going to save for web. before i could only save it in photoshop formats

File -> Save for Web -> Choose .gif -> Make sure the little transparency is checked -> Maker sure the Matte is set to none, and the interlace box is not checked.
