yo any one ever read the pigman... it an extra credit thing for my english class...

should i take the time to read it or forget it

if so... could anyone give me like the main idea of the story

The Pigman. Sounds like a funny book... But no I haven't read it. I have to read The Joy Luck Club for Summer reading.

Have you tried Sparknotes ? They generally give you an idea about what the book is about.

Then if you have an idea of what it is, why did you make this topic? And there's a summary on the back of the book, right? That's all you pretty much need to know to read a book.

I have...Wasn't it about a group of boys and one of them...(sorry, I read it like in 5th grade so i kind of forgot.. pinch.gif )
I think you should try sparklenotes like someone said..

The Joy Luck Club is a required book for seniors over here, too. I heard it's about some girl who gets abused by her father or something. I don't know, I didn't read it.

lol, im reading the pigman right now. im on page 30.
it's okay. i havent been reading anymore of it because im so damn lazy.

I, however, have to read "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving.. It's a really weird book. And it's LONG..
