Share your inspirations, who or what has inspired you in life. (Not sure if there's a post on this already, sorry if there is), share experiences, anything you have acomplished or going to from this inspiration, quotes from people who may have encouraged you, your mom, dad, a celeb, artist etc. SHARE !!!!!

I'm making this post because today I have finally acomplished something that is a start of something new. I feel almost complete in life (apart from getting my own house, Lancer Evo VII and a supermodel wife) But I have done something today which couldn't have succeeded had I not remebered the quote Bruce Lee had once said ""Absorb what is useful, Discard what is not, Add what is uniquely your own".
My other inspiration has also been from the film "The Crow" everything about it,especially when Brandon Lee has reminded me that, "Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well." I want to live life like the way he and his father also once said "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering"

AW. This was on the third page, and it's such a seemingly great topic with no replies. :[ Bump.

And my inspirations..
+ Amanda Payne has been one instrumental in my philosophy on life, "Keep going, keep trying.. no matter how hurt you are, inside or out, if you just pull yourself through, you'll make it out, and you'll go far."

+ Whoever wrote this quote also has been crucial in my philosophy on life, moreso the friendships & relationships aspect, "You can't hurt me anymore; I'm already broken. Sure you can pick at the torn pieces but nothing will hurt more than that first blow to my heart. So go ahead with your stupid lies and your childish games. They don't hurt. I can't feel it.. I already went numb."

+ Justin - perhaps the biggest impact on my life thus far. I find myself wanting to be better for him, to strive for perfection for him. Some days, he's all I look forward to - some days, he's all I can think about. Truly a brilliant writer and amazing overall person.

cry.gif awww

1) My Twin Brother: I'm giving my senior speech ( a 3 minute speech to the entire student body ) on how he was always there for me my entire life. How he saved my life numerous times. How even though I'm gonna go to college in a year and he has to repeat the grade because he was in the hospital so much, I still love him. How when my mom was put in jail by my step father because he lied to the police---my brother was there to comfort me. And we cried together. Over and over and swore we were gonna fix everything.

My quote for him: I know people always ask me "Do you get along with my twin brother" and I tell them I love my brother. And I plan to stand on the stage this year and say it to him- to everyone. That I am sorry.

2) My mom: For getting me started In film and letting me go to film school and letting me write whenever i wanted to; for being able to live through having one husband leave her and her children all alone and the other put her in jail because he wanted to take our house away from us and thought that when she called the police to try to get away--he'd take the opprotunity to lie.

My quote for her: Thanks for never giving up, mom.

Yeah. _smile.gif Those are, and always will be, my inspirations.
This is an awesome thread by the way.

The blue-green waters of Havasupai made my dreams a living reality. While I was in LA, I had a recurring dream of an underwater rite of passage. When I went to Supai for the first time and dove in the water, I was in the exact place that was the setting of my dream. Being nestled in the womb of the earth at Havasupai, surrounded by Mother Nature, helped me restore my spirit after several traumatic life-changing events.

"Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life." by Leo Buscaglia (yea whoever that is).

I believe in love in every aspect of life. I love to love.
And that's what inspires me.

lorie - this family friend of mine...she's turning 20 this summer and i've known her since i was little...she's amazing. smart, talented dancer, and just...wonderful. she's taught me so much and she's gone through so much like a major back surgery at 15 years old. i truly find her to be an inspiration to me. through everything she's always been able to stand up again and just push through and her life has been a fabulous success. she makes me want to be a better person, just like her. _smile.gif flowers.gif

adrian - i've known him for 4 years now, and in that time we've been through so much. we were friends at first but then we kinda had a rough patch but oh well. we became friends again in the last 2 years and its just been amazing. he's been the greatest friend i've ever had, truly. he understands me, doesn't judge me, and we can talk about anything. he's also a brilliant and strong person that i find truly amazing and talented. he's done so much for me and i just can't help but really look up to him i suppose...it also helps that i just feel like a better person with him. i don't know...there's just something about him that is absolutely amazing, and i love it and him! ^_^ *blush*

mish - i barely know her but through the internet, yet she seems like such an amazing person. i'd love to meet her one day. her writings are so emotion filled and just...breathtaking. honestly. that and she's beautiful and she knows it, yet she doesn't have that cocky attitude. she's a lot of things i wish i could be.

I couldn't have said it better before. Love is my ultimate inspiration.

But along with it comes heartache and pain, also abstract things that inspire me.

Michael Jackson. He has been accused of child molestation more than once. Although I find him a bit strange, I admit the fact that he fights back against the media is someone I admire.

Joey Jordison -- He's kind of the type of guy that will not take anyone else's shit. He seems to be very intelligent and he speaks his mind very well and very clearly. He's an excellent drummer and a good guitarist. He's a damn good writer and he does a hell of a lot for both of the bands he is currently in. I definitely look up to him for many reasons. I would LOVE to be able to drum even half as well as he can, and I just love the way he speaks his mind and carries himself. Although he's clearly very short, he doesn't take any shit from people for things like that.

My boyfriend Alex is my inspiration. Most of my poems have been on him, and he just makes me strive to become a better person. I always want to reach perfection whenever I'm around him. I love that "high" feeling.

My best guy friend.

I have learned so many things from him. I respect him and admire him. He is an absolutely amazing person, and he is an incredible blessing in my life. Through him, I have learned to be patient, less jealous, and trust in God. He's friendly to everyone, and he is incredibly commendable.

Alright ... um. My biggest inspirations are my 'crushes'. When I find someone, I am obsessed with them and I am really inspired to do something to express my feelings. Yeah, it's no one in particular.. but I gain it from them - and trying to get them to notice me by making myself the best I could.

+ My grandmother, because when I was kicked out of my house, she was the first person I called. And you know what she said? :

"What the hell are you bitchin about, child? That ain't nothin', go get off your ass and work for your mistake. It's your own damn fault and you make a livin' off of it!"

I throb.gif you too, Grandma. You inspired me to make sacrifices and do my best to be a good mommy. innocent.gif

Toby - Yeah, same with what she said about me. We have tons of stuff in common. She taught me not to type like a noob. And like, we've never argued before. Never. Without her, I wouldn't be inspired at all.

I know there are way more people than this. I feel lazy right now, so I'll edit this whenever I feel like it, which is probably never. mellow.gif

A lot of people inspire me, it was my older brother and my dad that inspired me to pursue and go for basketball. Just being a little 5-6 year old kid, looking at the shelves, checking all the trophies they've won, going to their games, seeing what they were doing. Thinking, when I grow up, i'm getting one of those.

The two that inspire me to keep on point and believe in myself is Kobe Bryant, all those haters, the media, and he still goes on and pulls through as if those problems aren't even there.

Another person that inspired me to just keep living when I thought life wasn't worth it was my cousin, he helped me get through like a big brother, and my sister, she stuck with me too.
