you need basic animation knowledge??

you never stated what version you had...

for image ready, save the miniclip, save it as, ".gif"...then open it in image ready, jump back to regular photoshop, make the borders and stuff for each layer, then go back to image ready, and play it..by layers..

^sorry if it's confusing, i'll try to explain better when i get the chance to.

lol oh sorry i'm using image ready.
But i know how to make a basic animation, i just can't get it on a base of an icon.... like i cant copy and paste it on the base cause it will only copy one layer when i want all of the layers. And when i do lock all of the layers together and move it onto the base it won't animate because of the base...idk. lol Its confusing.

^no..just make new layers at a time, and when you are working on only one layer, make the other ones invisible (the miniclip layers)...
