Need Advice!!, I need some advice please. Options

I don't even know where to start. This past week I stayed at a friends house. We went outside and it was about 9. It was me, my best friend [who's a girl], and her ex. We decided to just talk and we ending up being outside for over an hour. I've had a crush on her ex...since before they even dated and so did he. Anyway, a lot happened during that hour and a half. There were a lot of things that happened...

1.) My best friend asked him if he liked me and he didn't say anything. Then about 15 minutes later out of no where she asked "Am I good or am I good?" and he said "yeah your good". < I had no clue what they were talking about but later she told me she had asked him if he liked me and he said yes.
2.)All 3 of us were laying down watching the stars yet he decided to lay by me and watched me and stared at me the whole time. Thats when I started to notice some things. Till that moment I was clueless about the situation.

Later that night after he left and we went inside, my friend, she seemed really excited and said "he likes you" and in a happy kind of way. Anyway she asked me if I did like him and I said yes. The point of this topic is I feel bad because he is her ex. I'm not sure if I should go ahead and do something about it or leave it as both of us having crushes on each other. I stayed up for hours that night wondering what I should do and I still don't know. The thing is my best friend, she seemed really excited and happy like she didn't care that her ex has a crush on me. What should i do? Should I maybe wait till the end of the summer to do something? Not do anything at all? What would you do? I'm so confused :-/

It sounds like your bestfriend is excited for you two. She's cool with it. So I guess make your move? She's sensing she's trying to hook you two up somehow. Do something now, before it's too late.

yeah, the fact that she seems excited when she found out he liked you, is a great hint that she's okay with you and him. Go for it!

It sounds like you have a really great friend! But maybe you should double check with her just incase, so theres no weirdness.Have an honest conversation tell her how you feel about it being her ex, visa versa.I think you should go for it, you never know what could happen

i think she is genuinely happy. plus hes an exso i know how you feel but i also think.. theyre over.

just talk to her , ask if shes really okay with this, shes not just putting up a facade or anything.

It sounds like she was trying to hook you 2 up, but probably on the inside she's getting mad. If she seemed pretty content with hooking you 2 up then i'm sure she won't have such a big issue if you 2 went out and what not.

I would totally live in the moment and just hook up with him.

^ I agree. She's probably acting excited for you because she's your best friend and doesn't want you to feel bad but she's probably not showing that she's a little upset. I'd just talk to her and go for it =) That happened to me a few years ago and it was really hard and awkward.

Since it doesn't bother your best friend go for it...but before you do so have a deep conversation & see if she really doesn't care. I know I cover my feelings sometimes when the guy I like falls for my best friend I act like I don't care & then be happy for them...So make sure you mind her feelings to..but so far you haven't done anything wrong...

yeah i know all bout this!!! make sure its ok iwf your frend then....got for it...but jus be forwarned that ur frend may be okay with it at first but she might change her mind...like my frend did....but hopefully ur frend is kooler about this situation than my frend was

my best friend and i share boyfriends all the time. one of us goes out with them and normally a few months after the break up whoever wasnt with him gets with him. its kind of weird but i mean she and i like the same guys and i guess the same guys like us usually... i guess its kind of weird

your friend was all excited but she could have (not saying she was..just a thought) been pretending to be happy for you and was really upset or something. but if youre sure shes really supportive of you and her ex, then go for it
