Kodocha, anyone? Options

wow i love kodocha (kodomo no omocha) so much! it was like the first anime i had ever gotten into!! wow and i have to say that is my first manga i have ever read that was for 13+ i never read in that like level b4. i hope i get kodocha. has anyone read kodocha? if so plz tell me how u like it! lol i made somthing about kodocha too on photoshop. i messed up when it said like "walked" but instead i acidently said "lewalked" ok well ya plz tell me!! o and the picture is also my sicniture thing on the bottom of my topic. ok well plz tell me!

Did u read the whole series 1-10? I LOVE KODOMO NO OMOCHA!!!!!!! IT TOUCHED MY HEART AND WAS THE VERY FIRST MANGA I EVER READ!!!!!!!!!!since like the beginning i started middle school. I read the series off my friend a couple
years ago, then i later got the anime which is real funny. The other retro manga thats pretty cool is Marmalade boy which is similar to kodocha (both by ribon comics) but takes place in high school. Well yeah it's so SWEET!!!!!

Who WOULDNT get sick of it!!!!!!! It is very HEART WARMING, and an ALL TIME CLASSIC from the early 90's (1994 to be precise) and the first manga i ever read!!

its really nice its just like what imhyper said its very heart warming. its about a boy named akito and a girl named sana. at first akito was acting like a real demon and everyone in his family treated him like one but sana helped him and all his family loves him now. sana and akito become friends. but as the book gets like u know like volume 1,2,3 and so on. as the book grows akito and sana's relashion ship grows with it. ok thats it u will have to find out

oh, did u know about Kodocha limited edition? Its platininum something like that. But it's 11-30. I went to Books and Noble about 2 years ago during December (Christmas shopping) And i heard they had 11-30 in a limited edition pack. I was like WHAT!? I tryed to get it but it was sold out. That was like the only one they had. It was a special deal for $20. (Christmas sale). My cuzin bought, but accidently put it in a box 4 the salvation army.I was like HOW COULD U DO SUMTING LIKE THAT!!! and she was like "I DIDNT KNOW!!!' and on top of that, she bought it 4 the heck of it. THAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF BEING MINE!!!! So the only thing she said about reading sum of it was that Akito and Sana frenched kissed on #12, and they got married on #30. Right when i heard that, I went to all the book stores i could find, even the internet!!!! NO LUCK. The only thing i did find was the anime on ebay, and the japanese version of PARTNER(its another series by Miho. I'm glad i have it, but its really dramatic than the comedy of Kodocha) but that's about it. Maybe one day when im 18, I'll to chicago, caifornia, or japan to get the series. NO ONE CAN STOP ME HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!.......... ok

ur lucky they even have manga in your library. My school recently put manga in there but every time i show up i have know clue where they are because all the 6th and 7th graders are HOGGING THEM!!!! I never borrowed one manga from the library yet................-_-;

Get the anime. I got mine on ebay.I t's alot cheaper now anyway--like $20.00 for the whole series 1-102. 2 years ago when i bought it it was like $200 for the whole thing, and when i got the complete soundtrack CD's they were like $16.00. ( I was desprate enough pay with all the money i had, back then) Now the complete sountrack, and DVD prices are REAL LOW compared with 2 years ago. Now, the complete sountrack costs like $5, or $10. Thats a bargain right there.

I know what you mean! :D When you think about it, we all kind of live in our own world, you know? Sana is happy, but she kind of pushes away anything that makes her unhappy, to the point where it's unbearable. We all bottle up feelings and I know I've been that state that she's been. Where I've been emotionless (amazingly).

And this manga.. I can see it as something that could happen in real life, except maybe not dealing with middle school hahaha :P But yea you know what I mean!

Her mom is so cool. :] I thought it was really cute how the novel that she wrote all had the chapters beginning with a letter that had a message. :D Or well, at least that's what was shown in the manga. :P

Kodacha <33333 It's an awesome manga that all girls should read. I know it may seen kiddish, but it portrays various romantic and realistic values that we should all be aware of. Sana acts very mature about certain things. And her mother knows so much about love.. :P

Kodomo no Omocha was the first manga i've ever seen and read. Memories, so much memories It touched my heart at made me cry lots of times... sniff. At least it doesn't stop thru #10 at least...

But the anime is FUNNY, cracked me up! It's too bad Miho Obana didn't finish the series tho....she stopped half way T-T

oh, i love kodocha! i have.....i think only 2 of the books. they're so expensive. but worth it. my fav character would probably be either sana or her mom and the squirrel.

I LOVE KODOCHA! Kodocha stands for Kodomo no Omocha or something like that, I believe. It means Child's Toy or something.

I read all of the manga and man.. that is definitely one of my favorites! It does drag on and I really like the randomness of it all! :D I believe the author is also the one that created Penguin Brothers, but I'm not sure. Penguin Brothers is awesome as well! :D

KODOCHA! <3333 But not the translated, licensed manga. Scanlations all the way, since the licensed manga of Kodocha is good but some parts are corny, whereas the scanlations I read sound better. But hey, IDK which one is closer to the actual Japanese translations.... Anyways, Kodocha! <3333

My favorite is Mama with Maro-chan. Sana's cool and all, but her mother is really knowledgeable and even though she uses Sana as a means to write (inspiration, sorta...), Mama's been through many experiences and she seems to know what to say at the right moments. Plus, her and her crazy hairdos with Maro-chan are adorable! She's definitely my favorite character!

Hayama's cool too! I love the little drawings of Hayama as a bee. Haha so adorable! Plus, I like his expressionless face. It shows that he's suffered a lot. I pity him, yet love him.

I love Kodocha! It was probably one of the first manga I read (I picked the wrong manga without looking. ) But I'm glad I did. I liked how it all worked out at the end. My favorite character would have to be Akito. He always acted so cool.
