For those of you who have jobs, what do you do?

I used to have 2 jobs... one for the government and the other for a veterinary clinic. But i was working 13 hour days so I quit one and now I just work at my governement job. and thats when i spend the most time online

so how do you all make your dinero?

I work for a small consulting company that provides computer and software solutions for their clients. I'm the only web designer on the team so they give me a sh*tload of work to do. I hate it, its not fun, and I can't wait to go back to school just so I can take a break from working.

But the pay sure is nice.

I work at a YMCA in Member Services. I deal with people who sucks because they take their anger out on my great co-workers, and I deal people who are be too good to be true because they bring in food and share their lives' stories with me.

I come to the Y to hang out even when I'm not working. Come on, who goes to their work place to hang out? Exactly... that's how much I like working there. I get a decent pay and it's very close to home.

The only thing I don't like is having to deal with Directors.

I work at my dad's business. I help him load heavy boxes. Which are called balikbayan boxes. They are kind of like care packages for the Philippines. I don't get paid... I guess im just free labor.

i'm a theatre technician. pays $10-20/hr depending on the gig ;x it's all right as long as i'm working with my own crew. other bastards tend to be lazy or clueless. i have a fear of heights, and sometimes the job requires me to hang & focus lighting units on a catwalk 80feet high.. so yah, just one of the many perks of the job ;P

Aww. I used to have that kind of system. I got $2 a week when I was like.. 9. Then I just quit cos it didnt even matter. Then the next year they made it $3! And I still didn't care. Then I got to 10th grade. And I get like $10-25 a week (it depends if I do my house chores) and that includes lunch money at school. And lunch is $1.85. For 5 days. I jsut dont eat at school.

Jobs suck, but if you really really want one (and you old enough) make sure it isn't in the food are... it really gross sometimes. But no matter what, you can never escape people attitudes.

I work at blockbuster. I just started actually. I did my orientation over a week ago and I'm still not in the system to start my acutal training. They are kinda irresponsible. But as soon as I did my orientation, my 5 free rentals a week started. Oh! and I get to rent movies before they are released to the public. Like the aviator. I rented that last sunday, and it didnt come out til last tuesday. Yay for me :D even tho I didnt watch it lol.
