I saw the trailer on tv for 'Dark Water' and it seem pretty creepy. & its directed by a japnese film maker.

Trailer
^Here a trailer but its on Quicktime.

'Jennifer Connelly plays this wife with a daughter and a husband. The family moves into this apartment and strange noise and strange happenings and persistent leaks of dark water treaten their lives.' - 24Hour Entertainment

the moive seems cool. Is it worth seeing?

My friend saw it. She said if you're used to seeing scary movies and don't care about getting scared etc.. then it's a good movie. Then again I guess that goes for any "scary" movie.

it wasnt scary at all, but i dont know im really not scared of anything. people in the theatre were screaming and shouting and all scared so i guess it was. the people i was with were being so loud and crazy! i KNOW we were getting on everyones nerves. they were all "oh hella naw we best get out this movie this is fuckign scary, bella whyd yu make us watch this?" [there was like 20 of us] and i just sat there smiling. its not scary. but its good. the endings good too, but i wanted something scary. its a happy ending.

I saw it yesterday, and I honestly didn't like it. It didn't scare me at all. I haven't seen The Ring 1 or 2, but my friend saw the second ring, and she said that Dark Water had pretty much the same storyline as The Ring. She also thinks there will be a sequel to Dark Water. I sure hope not because I really expected more out of the movie...and I didn't like the ending either.

Saw it. Liked it.

Sure, it wasn't scary. It doesn't really fit under the Horror category. It was more a drama than anything else. The acting was superb, especially by Jennifer Connely and the little girl that played Ceci. Can we say ADORABLE. I also enjoyed the dark storyline. I like how all the characters had their weird, unexplained quirks about them... I guess implying that everyone's got something to hide. And the ending. I was somewhat disappointed with it. It felt rushed and I felt like the movie had built up so much suspense and the ending just didn't do us justice. I expected it to be scarier. *shrugs* Still a good film nonetheless.

i thought it was pretty good.. not that scary though. the only thing i really didn't like was how they built up a ton of suspense, and then it seemed like they didn't do anything with it, then they built it up again, didn't do anything with it, etc. overall it was definitely worth seeing though.

I can tell because the graphic of that movie looked disturbing and very horribly scary. I didn't watch it yet. I'm too chickened out to watch that movie.

hmm, in some ways it reminds me of "The Ring" lol. It does look scary tho, so i'm probably not going to see it haha. But i do think that Jennifer Connelly is a wonderful actress, especially in that movie, "Beautiful Mind" :)

I heard that it was very stupid. All my friends said there was lots of popups, but the storyline is stupid. They said it was sooo like Ring. As if it was a sequel haha.

So yeah I'm not watching it :( But... only if they changed the freaking SCENE LIKE RING!!! I would watch it T_T

the japanese version of "dark water" was by the same director of "the ring", but i don`t think the american versions are going to be as good/scary as the japanese versions.
