i just save a picuter & want to upload it to img shack. problem is it's over 1 kb. is there a way i can save it to make it take less space? i tried png & jpeg but jpeg actualy made it bigger..
any ideas?

What program are you using? If you're using Photoshop, you can go to File>Save For Web, and choose from the options, that usually reduces the file size by quite a bit.

What kinda image is that for it to be over 1MB?! o_O It must be super huge. You shouldn't even be uploading images that size. In Photoshop just optimize it.

Wow, you're uploading an image that big?? You can upload it at http://bizhat.com but you have to register. They give you unlimited uploads and unlimited bandwith.

Resize it, or save it as a GIF if it doesn't use a lot of colors (GIF's can only contain up to 256 colors).

the cray thing was, the pic was actauly smaller than you regualer sized icon. i ending up deleting it & fiding a new 1. i thought it was a bit weird for it to be do huge. but i guess i solves to problem. thnx for the imput ne ways tho
