i just recently got the adobe photoshop cs2 trial because i wanted to edit pics / make banners. ive tried using tutorials but they really confuse me. i know where to download fonts and brushes but i dont know how to use them. somebody please help me!

Brush: Once you found a site with good brushes, click them and unzip them to file unzip. Open your program and click the brush tool. Click the dropdown list for which brush you want and click the li`l arrow at the corner. Then click "load brushes" and find the brush you unzip. It`ll then be extracted and you can use them.
Fonts: Unzip the font file from a website and open the folder that holds the file (which you saved to). Then open C:\winnt\fonts and drag the font file to the the C:\winnt\fonts. This enables you to use the font in anything font-related on your computer. |

when you download a font and put it in your font folder it will automatically work in photoshop.
good-tutorials.com has plenty of tutorials for photoshop i think you should start off with easy things then work your way up. try the tutorials and if you have a question on one tell us so its easier for us to help you. |
