Sneaking out? Options

So I searched (and you all know me, I really did) and nothing came up with the parameters of "sneak" / "sneaking" so here it is.

How often do you kids sneak out? How do you do it? Jump out the window? Stroll out the front door? Any memorable incidents? Did you get caught?

Lately, I've been sneaking out nightly around twelve thirty to go to my friend's house to watch movies (the most recent being the two Kill Bill volumes and also Pulp Fiction - I have a new-found love for Quentin Tarantino). I pretty much just walk out the backdoor and leave, although I think I'm going to change that to the kitchen window tonight since that's a lot quieter. I haven't gotten caught (yet), and yeah, great movies. I'm an insomniac. :[

I don't really have to "sneak" out... at 11 PM I'll just yell to my parents "I'm going out," they'll say bye, and I'm gone.
Er, well.. Since my city's curfue is 11 PM, one time last summer, I left around 12 AM to go to my friend's house, and as I was riding over there this cop pulled up next to me and... He goes "Do you know what time it is?" I say "no," and he made me get into the car and he took me home.
My parents don't really care.

someone told me that you haven't truly lived until you've snuck out... i guess i'll have to try it and see.

Yeah I have. It was at my cousin's house a long time ago. She wanted to sneak out to do I don't know what. So we went outside and she started smoking. Yeah o_o.

Pretty memorable & long..

I only did it once when I was 14. My friend had spent the night and we decided to sneak out & TP my friends house. It was around 1AM, we were going to go out my bedroom window but my neighbors dog started to bark so we decided we would go through the front door. My brother was awake at the time so we told him to cover for us just incase something went wrong. So everything was set and we smoothly exited through the front door. We had to cross the street from my neighborhood to another ( yes, we walked ) so when we thought it was all good and we had made it we saw an old volkswagon beetle following us and we were like WTF.. so I'm like get down on the grass ( in some random front yard ) and the car drives up onto that drive way and all we see is headlights and a person getting out of the car and I'm just like RUN! My inner forest gump was pretty much brought out in that moment. I don't even know what happened to that person, I never looked back until the coast was clear. Woah this is getting long. FAST FORWARD. We got lost in another neighborhood but eventually found my friend's house. We TP'd it and then we were on our way home at around 3am. I didn't get caught.. thank goodness. I can't believe I even did that.

no i never did. i know that i'd get caught because my dad is up ALL night. and, plus, i live on the other side of town than most people so it'd be impossible.

Not much of my friends sneak out. They have understanding parents that let them go wherever. As for me, I do not because what I want most in life is for my parents to be proud of me. If I were to be caught, I would be so shameful. I don`t take much risks, and I obey my parents. They usually let me go to the things I really want to go to anyways ^_^.

I've only snuck out a couple of times and when I did, I just went through my window. It's pretty easy. Nobody has noticed the screen missing yet.

hah .. sneakin out is soo much fun .. the first time i did it at my house i got caught .. i was on the phone n the dog barked .. so that was no good .. but i didnt get in trouble .. n the other time i snuck out with my best friend we were both scared .. n we were goin to see her b/f n i guy i liked .. we jumped out of her window .. which was bad becasue it was right beside her moms room .. we thought we were we ran 2 miles to meet up with em .. talked about 5 minutes than said our "goodbyes" tehe . than we ran all the way back .. she pushed me back into her window .. than she couldn get in .. i pulled her in n we made alot fo noise .. we were safe .. so we ran downstairs to where we were supposed tobe sleeping and got sum beer .. n had fun than we called the guys like 15 min later .. and i pretened to cry n say that she had a piece of glass in her foot .. it was great .. her b/f started crying .. so i had to tell him that we were just playin around .. they were upset but got over it casue the next day we all went to sixflags .. and all we did was talk about the nite b4 n her parents asked us wat we were talkin about .. but they still dont kno

Meep. I haven't but one time I REALLY wanted to. The kid I'm in love with was telling me to sneak out and meet him, and if you knew this kid you would want to, too. But I chickened out in the end.. I really wish I went.

^ Ironically, around these parts, wearing all black makes you more visible at night. Freaking street lamps are too bright.

Eh, I don't really have anywhere to go... I just walk around to try and take my mind off of things, since I think a lot at night.
Oh, sometimes I go to the 24-hour grocery store just down the block and get Mountain Dew.

I have many times.To go to my friends house and chill.Or to a guys house.It was pretty fun.Although I had that fear of getting caught of course.I went out the side door in the garage.But...my mom didn't like that friend.SO yeah.She moved.And I had no where to go.Also my dad blocked the side door with like a shelf because someone robbed through it. So yeah...I went out the front door once.I was so scared to get caught because my door was loud.But I didn't get caught.I don't sneak out anymore...It was fun while it lasted =)

I never sneak out during nights. My mom trusts me all the time, so I don't go out anywhere at night with strangers or with my friends who doesnt sleep at all. I respect my mom so yeah.




But... I once sneaked out when I was in Utah. It's so easy to get out. Because there's like 3 doors to get outside. The garage door, the sliding door right next to the dining room and the entrance door... the main door. But I got out from my window. It's like 10 feet below to go down. But my friend, Justin helped me down. I hope I wasn't heavy for him rofl.

anyways, I snook out because I didn't care about my dad. also my stepmom because i hate hate hate her. i hated my life. i didnt care if i went to jail that time because I JUST HATED MY LIFE. my dad and my stepmom was ruining my life... so yeah. i went outside and went downtown... and just sit down and look at the stars with my friend, justin. we were just talking about childhood memories. he just cheered me up and i was laughing so much because he know hows to make someone laugh. anyways, i didn't get in trouble when I got back in. Because everyone was still sleeping.

Anyways... I didn't do anything bad. Just stare at the starry night stars... and just talked about our childhood memories... and drive through around the downtown. then went home. i just needed to yell and scream and he let me when we were in the almost top of the mountain where no one can see me or find me.

I have never snuck out of my own house. Only because my parents won't put up with that crap.. and if they find out then I'll be in lots of trouble. I'll loose all the trust my parents have in me & it will be hard to build back up.. if it ever does.

Although, I have snuck out of my friends house. We totally just went out her window then onto the sunroof thing. Jumped down onto her trampoline and went to another kids house. It was fun.. haha.

When I went to Ocean City, Maryland with some relatives.. we snuck out around 12 to go to the boardwalk and meet up with some guys. BAH, we got caught.. but luckily I made a deal with my aunt not to tell my parents.

I think that if I wanted to go out at night, I would just tell my parents. They'd rather have me be truthful with them then for them to catch me and never have their trust ( if that makes sense? ).

Out the window on the 2nd floor. xD It was quite complicated. We had to open the window and climb off the roof into the bushes as quiet as we could so the dad that was sleeping in the basement wouldnt hear us. It was really fun....Yeah...those were the days

yea. i snuck out a few times. just out the back door. my window is too high to exit from. never been caught. if i were caught, i'd say i was hungry and went to get something to eat, and thought i saw something outside and went to check....

I completely flip out when any car shines it's headlights in my direction after curfew since I always thinks it's a cop. T_T;

Open the window, look around, slide down the drain pipe halfway, land on hedge, jump onto trampoline and open the gate quitely, then stroll out casually, sweet as a nut. Do it quite often, the old drain pipe seems to be getting weak thoiugh.

my most memorable sneak out?
i was in a huge fight wiht my parents [once again] and i decided that i couldnt handle it so i called me friend and she said she was near my house. i asked for a ride and it too like 17 minutes waiting until the coast was clear and i just ran out. no one noticed. i got home at 12 . and they actually knew i left. my parents didnt talk to me for weeks. oh well.
