i wouldn't know, i just prefer the simple IE, the thing that came w/ your computer that you grew to hate. My ie just needs to get me from website A, to website abcdefghijklmnqelfkmsldkfmsdklfm..........etc. It has popup blocker also, but no tabs-i dont care about tabs. I have microsoft anti-spyware installed and it's like effing zone alarm, warns me too about stuff trying to install itsel fon my comp.
I guess people like to customize everything on their computer, not me. Just let it be.

Hold down control while clicking a link to have it open in a tab.

so you're using IE based on practicality? so wouldn't firefox be more practical? it isn't as bloated, it's standards compliant and browses more efficiently than IE. Safer, Faster, Better. IE is written on 5 year old code! Plus, firefox is free, and it's only about 5mb, so I don't see why it's not worth a download.

firefox doesn't mess up. whoever wrote the bad code is the one who messed up. people who use internet explorer promote writing bad code, because IE does not comply to standards.

There's a plugin for easier tabs and more tab customization, just go to firefox.org and look around in plugins/add-ons for it.

kryo, you forgot the imporant one!

firefox is open source!

and, you can have extentions and themes.
can IE do extentions?

i came for the tabbed browsing, i stayed for the:

adblock
gmail notifier
tab customizers (5 or so)
translate from
color picker
magnifier
customize google
scribe

my firefox is unique to me.

others may like gestures, and they could have that.

IE can't do that.

yea i gave into firefox cause there are much less pop ups. but alot of the time .. like i go to my myspace and it shows like html codes incorrectly... like differently .. like my myspace has no borders. and when i view it on IE it has borders casue thats whats in the code. and firefox takes a little longer to view the pictures.

All that stuff, is stuff you do not NEED, it's stuff YOU WANT. I just want to keep it simple.

Tabs, okay.

Weather, okay.

Typing letters, when you want to find someting

all find and dandy, a matter of personal preference.

theres a diff between needs, and wants.

it surfs the net
it protects from spyware w/ the Microsoft Anti-Spyware -FREE
it blocks pop ups
all you NEED.

Not everyone wants to customize everything they have to death.
i dont give a rats ass if you can tell the weather by lookin at your computer because i can open the door. :P

blah, turning into a debate..

GOOD LUCK W/ FIREFOX

P.S: try surfing myspace w/ firefox, it's a pain. tables not aligned, music wont play, BAH
