Wheeee.

So The Offspring's greatest hits album came out June 21st, I believe.
Anyone get it? Anyone like them? (Yeah, I searched. =P)

I got it today, after a long wait. It's great. I mean, I already have all of their albums, but I've been a huge fan of theirs for a long time, so of course I'll support them by getting their greatest hits album. x]

I got the two-sided disc version of it. It has interviews and stuff on it. ;D
The one-sided disc version of it just has the songs.

Oh, and there was a little notice in there that they're having a music videos and concert clips DVD come out July 5th! I can't wait for that.

So... yeah. Did anyone get it? Anyone plan on getting it?

EDIT//

Here are the songs on their greatest hits album for those wondering:

1) "Can't Repeat"
2) "Come Out and Play (Keep 'Em Separated)"
3) "Self Esteem"
4) "Gotta Get Away"
5) "All I Want"
6) "Gone Away"
7) "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)"
8) "Why Don't You Get a Job?"
9) "The Kids Aren't Alright"
10) "Original Prankster"
11) "Want You Bad"
12) "Defy You"
13) "Hit That"
14) "(Can't Get My) Head Around You"

Yeah, it's great. biggrin.gif I'm already obsessed with it.

The only other song I liked from them was that song they played in the movie Idle Hands, I think it's called "I Wanna Be Sedated".

Okay, guys.. I'm freaking out here. laugh.gif There's a 'hidden track' at the end of the last song. It's great. I must figure out what it's called.

I absolutely love the offspring since my lovely brother raised me on them as a kid. Them and Bad Religion<33
I have all their albums and I think I have two copies of Smash so just to support them I plan on buying the Greatest Hits album. Plus I don't want to be a jerk and just download "Can't Repeat" because I feel bad about doing that..

Anyway, I'm getting it but I just think that they should have left of The songs from Splinter out. They weren't all that great. Or at least Hit That wasn't. And I don't get why Staring at the Sun and Genocide weren't on there because those were very awesome songs.. That's just my opinion though. The other night though, I was thinking about it and I realized that a lot of the songs sound alike. A lot of the intros for their songs were orignially based off of Genocide and Long Way Home has the same exact intro as another song.
But yes.. I plan on getting it today. After my dad wakes up. Or I have to walk to the mall or something.

Brie, I love you. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Anyway... haven't listened to a whole lot of The Offspring. I do remember I liked what I'd heard a while back, though. I'll have to check some more out by them [:

Woot!
Yeah, I know about what you're saying with the songs off of Splinter. I am not overly big on "Hit That," but "(Can't Get My) Head Around You" is pretty good.

I was surprised not to see "Staring At The Sun" on there as well. That was one hell of a song.

Eh, oh well. It's still great and I'm still listening to it. I can't wait until July fifth for the DVD to come out. thumbsup.gif
