Hardly the best song by The Offspring. I think it's horrible that Pretty Fly was their most popular song... It doesn't give a good picture of how their music generally sounds. They have so many more awesome songs. (Just on Americana, too... That's actually the only Offspring CD I own =x )

Do you like a band that has a really popular song that doesn't sound at all like the band you know and love?

I do... For example:

Green Day - American Idiot/Boulevard of Broken Dreams
The Offspring - Pretty Fly
Nerf Herder - Buffy theme song (Not a great example, x])

haha not many people know who did the buffy song laugh.gif

(*points to self* buffy FREAK)

bowling for soup actually has some better songs than their popular ones. and hot hot heat. and the bravery. and the killers. and frou frou. (though their only popular one isn't bad, the others are great too). and death cab for cutie.

the new green day album sounds nothing like them [not literally] but then they were trying to make something new and different from what they usually sound like...they did a good job on that.

Yeah, I agree with you about The Offspring song. I love them and have all of their albums, but I must agree... that really isn't their best. Eh, well, they've done enough other songs to make up for it. =P

Yeah, that's all that's coming to mind...ermm.gif
