Wait..I thought it was four dollars?? Anyhow, I think it is worth it. I love permium. Not only can you upload your pic with it but you can work with all these neat fonts.

no. it's like a little sub domain. and you can get hosted on the web for free in a wide array of domains, where you can make pages and it isn't commercial and you have complete control and you can upload anything. the only perk in xanga is that you don't have to do scripting {which i don't consider a perk, since i like it and script anyway} and that it's a community. but 5$ a month?

I could host my own Blog. Im not gunna get premium, 20 megs for pics is nothing. But It is ad free, thats a perk.....

dang...for $5 a month i can have unlimited text messaging and picture sending on my phone. id much rather have that over something that allows you to bold your text, change your font and color, and have spell check. im capable of doing all that on my computer...itd just take longer and its not worth the money

I got unlimited text messaging and picture sending, plus web browser and Unlimited Nation wide minutes for $59.95 a month.... The only bad thing is the phone, its junk. Don't ever get a Motorola Razr...

i honestly don't see a need for xanga premium. i have the regular/free xanga and i have ALL custom modules, custom fonts and all of that cool stuff. i would never buy it.

I don't think it's worth the money to have Xanga Premium services.
If you multiply 5 by 12, it's $60 per year.
blink.gif I think you could buy a lot of more useful stuff with 60 bucks.

It depends...on how you use it. Personaly, I wouldn't pay for it. I'm fine with all the features how it is..maybe if I was like a xanga-obsesser I'd get it.

Wel, according to Xanga, a Xanga Premium is worth four dollars per month. I am fine with the Xanga Classic features. Besides, I'm just going to quit xanga before I get married. ermm.gif

I don't think premium is worth it, but it would be nice.
With all those blog editing tools, the publicity xanga gives you, an ad free website and access to those skins plus being able to search the web on xanga.
Anyway, in my opinion, I still don't think it's worth it.
Because if I had all that stuff, I wouldn't be using every single feature. I would be using the features rarely and besides, it's been great having classic and I've managed.

There are people out there who buy Xanga Premium so we can have our xangas still working. Without those people, Xanga would probably shut down.

Personally, I don't think it's worth US$5 unless you don't know HTML/CSS at all.

Haha, no, of course not. That proverb thing..I can't remember it..."Give a kid a fish and he'll have dinner, teach a kid to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime" or something like that. Learn to make your own Xanga skins, and you'll have a new hobby and a prettier Xanga than a lot of people who have Premium.

Xanga makes enough money on ads, they don’t really need money from Xanga Premium. I’m sure they make about a few mil in ad sales.
