But I really like the community, I fitted in really well.

I was new to the whole Xanga thing, I was just looking for a skin or something, then I joined so I could comment on the skins. Heh. And later I discovered the forums and how nice everyone was to me, so I kind of stuck with it.

The skins were my main appeal in the beginning and when I did discover the forums I was such a lurker. Eventually I decided the people would be cool interact with so I joined on in. I've been addicted since.

When i first got on this site, i thought the forums and people on this site were pretty awesome, and the skins of course were amazing. I was like, i can't believe they are just doing all this for free. And the people were really nice and close knit.

I was seriously like at the amount of skins cb had. I was new to xanga and I was just messing around with the skins first and didn't even notice that there were other forums. After I realized I could post and whatnot, I was amazed at people who had like 1,000 posts. I was like, that is impossible.

I used to post on PGamers allll the time and that was a great place, like this but they kept getting hacked so i gave up. I'm glad I found another nice place! At first I was new to the xanga thing, and I googled for xanga skins and I found cB, I was amazed by the skins and I actually used some of the skins. Later I discovered the forums and the forums are awesome. The tutorials are helpful and now I could make my own xanga layouts, when I am more skilled in making xanga skins, I may submit some skins for some cB people.

hmm, well i never became a member when i discovered createblog. first, i just like looked at the skins, and the scripts. after that, i decided to become a member so i can write in the forums. hehe.

The first forum I checked out was the Boys Locker. So for 6 months I just jacked Xanga skins because I thought this was site for 12 year old technology geeks with nothing better to do with their time other than to let me profit at their expense.

Then in January, I started a new Xanga, came back to the site, then scrolled through the ENTIRE forum. I found the Debate section. I joined. Case Closed.

I came for the scripts, discovered skins... just like everyone else... but then I fell in love with the people, even though I'm still trying to butt my way into your "inner circle" of close knit members... but, being homeschooled this year, I was just craving social interaction (seriously...) and since you guys were so nice...

And my first impression was that the mods were really really mean/strict, but after I stuck around for a while I realized how much work must go into keeping this a friendly forum and I have a lot of respect for the mods and hope to become one someday.
