Would you ever move out of your own country?

One of my friends wants to move to France once she is done with high school, so, I was thinking... how many people want to move out of their country in the future?

For me, I will say that I have thought about it, but I rely so much on my friends for support I just couldn't imagine going a billion-million miles away. Although, if there were a gun to my head I would move to England. At least they speak English... kinda... I can deal with an accent, if they can deal with mine.

Once I'm done with university, I'm so out of here (Canada). I have a way brighter future in Asia (specifically, Hong Kong), in my opinion.

Yeah, I might even go to university in Hong Kong, so...yeah.

Probably not. I'm an impatient person who doesn't like to learn. I only like to learn by going along the way. So, probably I won't want to. I mean, then I'd have to learn a new language and all that jazz. I only know how to speak mandrin(sp?) and cantonese, but no so well. So America is my place. I can understand here.

Yes. I like to move outside of the country I'm living on. Probably somewhere in Europe, such as Vatican City (Because of my interest on my religion; Roman Catholicsm), France (For it's fine food), United Kingdom (I don't know, but I just like to hang out with people speaking British accent tongue.gif) or Switzerland (Chocolates!). happy.gif

I don't think I would move out of the USA. I've thought about this a lot since my parents were born in India and all...but I don't think I'd be able to..

I mean..if its the place where you were BORN...and you were RAISED in..you're always going to have some sort of connection with it, right? I wouldn't want to leave the US.

Other countries are good for visiting..but not for staying. It'd be nice to stay in places like France, New Zealand, Europe, etc..but I don't think I"ll ever have that connection with it.

Hm?
My own country? I don't own the United States, and by god, it doesn't own me.

I have as much freedom as I wish to leave here.

Oh, and I failed to mention that I hope to leave for Venice; one day.

Not really, I've adapted to the United States, and I've lived here all my life.
I don't know what I'd do if I had to move to another country or another region where I didn't know anyone and didn't speak their language. My parents did that though, and I admire them for it. biggrin.gif

i like living in america but the only reason why i like american is because it is the only country i have been to. well, i went to the dominican republic and i didn't like it becuase they were kinda poor and living in poverty and i have been to mexico but i didn't like it that much either but that may of been because it was a bad part of the country. _unsure.gif

am definetely for the moving option.can't stay here forever and ever. too boring.
Anyway, I'm pretty convinced no one will ever give me a *full* scholarship to study abroad, so after university and earning a lot of money by killing a few people, robbing banks and becoming a p0rn movie director, I'm planning to do a world tour in my future car. I'll start with Europe, Asia, Australia, Oceania, North America, Center America, South America, Antarctica, Africa, just to stop in Spain. forever.

At first I thought that I'd love to move to England, but then I thought about it and everything's so expensive there. You have to be really rich to own a house like the one I live in. >_< So I guess I'm lucky to live in the US of A. I'll stay here, thanks.

I doubt it...

but if I ever did it would be to either England, Italy, or Australia.

America is just too "safe" I guess. People need to explore their horizons more. You only have one life. Have fun with it. Don't be couch potatos. Jeez.

America...safe??? blink.gif

What part of America have you been to?

Texas is such a boring place. Or at least where I live. There's no excitement. It's just super-safe, stuper-civilized robot town. I want to move to England or Japan or Canada even. Anywhere but here. I can't wait until I'm able to.. _dry.gif

I would want to move to France or United Kingdom. But when you go to France, you need to learn how to speak French and I suck at it. But in United Kingdom, they speak English. So I rather go there. But France is a nice place, only if it is Paris --- Hahaha.

But living in the United States is lot better because you have more freedom than any other countries. I think I'm right about the most freedom we get here in United States.

Yes yes yes.

I would love to live in many other countries that aren't the US. I do NOT plan on living here when I grow up.

I love the US, but... I just can't see it.

I love America. I wouldn't live anywhere else. I'd love to travel, but living somewhere else permanently just doesn't work for me.

I find it odd that a lot of America's youth don't like our country. In other nations, there's a lot more national pride going on among teenagers. It seems like here in the US, we don't appreciate our country as much as others.
