photo shop colors messed up, help |

the other day i was making a lyout with alto of greys i duno if i changed a setting some how but now when i start a new blank page when i select a color it turns to a shade of grey and not the color i chose, how can i fix this?

.... You have your image set to Greyscale probably.
Image -> Mode -> Change it to RBG Color. |
