The best workout to have slim legs and toned thighs is running and squats. Trying running a few times a week and doing squats everynight. happy.gif

the ULTIMATE THIGH workout is the LUNGE. We did those in track, they're sooo painful, but they do help. I found this site with a video of the lunge and just imitate it.

yea, sry that guy's kinda nasty looking, but a video wuld explain it better than a 5 paragraph explanation. And... u don't need the dumbells just do the legs thing.

^Yeah, Lunges really help. Also, doing cardio workouts help too. They're a little more intense, but you'll feel it once you're done. Also your thighs can benefit from yoga/pilates. _smile.gif

Do lunges with weights. I've been doing them for a month and I've lost 7 inches off my thighs, and gained a lot more muscle.

Cardio really helps, and lunges. I did taebo for a while and it really helped. But i think out of everything, my thighs were in the best shape during basketball season, and when you have to do the basketball drills where you are crouched down and using ur thighs to really move you back and forth. and you go from one point to the next just by using your legs. i remember having to do those drills, for like an hour, and the next day i couldn't like walk. but it really helped doing those everday, it helped more then lunges ever did

squat lunges and stairs. They don't look muscley until you work off all the fat...just don't do too much toning. It takes a lot to make them look steroid muscle-y, so I wouldn't worry too much

I have the same problem. You could try squats and lunges on your own. If you have access to a gym I would suggest using the bike, eliptical machine, or treadmill. Otherwise some good sports to try are tennis, basketball, swimming, soccer, etc. Walking and running daily is also good.

I would say running, squats, and stair runs. If you have one of those exercise balls, they really help if you do the right exercises.

why would you want that?

sit like that, the hands aren't necessary. just keep your back straight, and no leaning against anything. put your hands on your hips or at least, in that general area. sit for fifteen minutes.

lay on your back and put your 2 legs straight up in front of you. imagine that you are riding a bicycle and keep in that movement for 5+ minutes each day.

I'm a lazy person who doesn't like going for jogs & runs, would playing squash help workout the thighs?
