I recently joined a forum called Bijoue, and honestly it's the most disrespectful place I've ever been to. They had theses "unwritten" rules about not having images in signatures so I get a bunch of snide comments in my intro thread about how they don't allow it. I can respect that rule but there were none at all listed until I brought it out on the table on a Suggestion thread heathasm created about the image sigs. I mean they didn't take the time to discuss it, they just whined, "OH LITTLE 30x10 SIGS WOULD TAKE UP LOADING TIME LIKE OMG AND THEY ANNOYING" They ended up closing the thread telling us to stop whining about it when all we were doing was discussing. The thread wasn't even up 3 days before it got locked and there weren’t even many replies but I mean hey that's what the suggestion forum is for right?

On my forum it's about the members since that's who makes up the forum but it was different there. I even pmed an admin and told them exactly how I felt but I just kept getting silly warnings then all of the sudden the admin said, "We have rules now go look!" I ended up getting banned; they didn't even take the time to try to work things out with me. It was just like "I've never been to a forum with so much disrespect, blah blah" then BAN... I may have overreacted a bit but I really do not like to be walked all over by snobs... but it really did irritate me but this whole situation just made want to make my own interest forum even better for my members. ^^;

i have a fairly similar situation.

they can suspend me for "filter circumvention" without real warning and then suspend me again because theres a chance that i have something to do with the recent influx of trolling, and when i point out that this is nowhere in the rules, they tell me that rules can be changed anytime without notice.
oh, so you can change the rules to do whatever it takes to get me banned, and yet you expect me to realize that writing h**l instead of #### is filter circumvention because i had to agree to the rules when i joined? sorry but no. that makes no sense.

Blah, high and mightly wannabe people. >_>; At Bijoue, I didn't agree to any rules when I joined because there was none in the first place then all of the sudden they added them when I was messaging the admin. e_e


edit: I just realized I was ip banned from Clique too, lol. Trish is just going down the list banning people she doesn't like. I did nothing at all but my cousin who was banned for no reason was on my name but that's all. I only encountered one bitchy mod but I wasn't very active there much. I should ip ban her from my forum too so she doesn't steal my ideas. ~_~ Another example of a badly run forum. :\

I'm not so sure I would call that disrespect but It is something. That's happened to me before, but on some Forum I don't remember it's name. When people tend to be like that with me, I forget them. Tis why I don't remember the name..

The funny thing is... there were no rules listed that had me anything do with messaging the admin. So I was banned for no reason since I didn't break their so-called "rules". :P They also always seem put how nice the staff is and everything. o_o

tapemb is also a .. not so welcoming forum. most of the people on there that i got the chance to run in with .. when critiqueing (sp?) your artwork, would just point out every little negative thing and not say anything positive. usually, when i critique things, i try to point out the bigger negative things, and still say something positive too...it lets the person know that they don't totally suck.

If you want to talk about disrespect, go to boards.biscuitservers.net. I don't advise anybody to register for that, since it's for an old game, and basically all people do there is bash members.

Oh my gosh!!! I went there and read the whole thing! They are seriously so rude! And the thing is, if they're worried about people's computers not being able to load images, then they shouldn't even have a banner/headers!!

Their rules are the most stupid rules I've ever seen!!! And all the rules important rules (that are in most forums) that should be there, aren't. its like they are replaced by pointless ones.

Bijoue is just a cheap rip-off of tapemb and most the members there are from tapemb... Which is why I'm wondering why Bijoue was ever created. o.O;
