Swf as a link?

I've seen some swf's as alink and i was trying to do it myself but it wont do it

thats there code works perfectly fine for them except that they dont have the beggining part that i have

The only time I've seen .swf as a link is where the link is actually embedded INSIDE of the .swf. Like, when they're making the flash thing, they add an event with a link. Does that make any sense?

Yeah, read that for the jist of it. Basically, you code it to open a new page in flash.
