Err, yeah. For my bio class, we're doing a group project.. part of it was to make a short commercial or movie thing. We used my friend's digi cam and recorded most of it.. she uploaded it onto her computer, and we can view it. Now we need to put it together... She has Windows Movie Maker to edit the movie and put it together, but it wont let her open the files up in Windows Movie Maker to edit it. When viewed on her computer, the movie clips are opened in quick time.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Or another movie program thing that we can download so this will work?

what file format is it? (if it's in quicktime, maybe it's a *.mov)

Yeah, it's .mov .. and it wont work on her Windows Movie Maker. we tried changing the extension things to .wav, .wmv, and .avi but it would only show the sound, and no tthe video on windows media player.
