Stuttering. Options

Do you stutter? I stutter. At random times of a conversation, I just can't seem to express my words right! Do you ever get this problem? And do you know how to resolve this damned spell !

Occasionally I do, but not often. I only really stutter when I'm not sure of what to say and I'm trying to buy some time to think about what to say next.

When my brother was younger he use to stutter really bad and I use to pick on him because of it (mean big sis..I know). He eventually grew out of it around the age of 12.

haha im almost 15 and i stutter like all the time. my mom thinks i do it to annoy her but i reallycan't help it. i just do it at random times too. i'll just reoeat it over and over until i get it right. its actualy quite frustrating.

Yea. I start stuttering when I qupte people. Hell, it's embarrassing.

I try so hard talking slow, but i don't know it's so frustrating. It just doesn't seem to work. It happens mostly when I quote people or I start saying Why. I FEEL SO TRAPPED. That's why I don't talk to friends on the phone. Only instant message. LOL

i stutter whenever i am excited, scared or in a hurry. whenever i was really young, i used to have a VERY bad stutter and i had to go some speech classes. yes, speech classes. and the way to help it is to speak slower, kinda get a rhythm and to think before you speak. like literally --> get whatever you are going to say in your head before you open up your mouth.

i don't stutter a lot i think, only like when i forget what i was going to say or have no idea what to say.

I stutter under these 2 conditions

1. When I have to much information going through my brain at once.

2. When I have a speech prepared for a girl I plan on talking to and I walk up to her I get nervous and begin to fumble. (The sadness I know)

i talk really fast. its just in my family to talk fast. sometimes i get messed up but, hardly. its usually because i have soo many thoughts running through my head

i dont usually stutter. only when i have too much to say at one time will my words get all mixed and messed up. i think the best way is to think through your thoughts and talk at a slower pace. By calming myself down and laying out my sentences, it helps alot more and i dont sound retarded =)

Most of the time I do. Bad habbit. It happens when someones either interrupting or I can't pronounce the word in my head right. I try focusing on the word though and then say it out w/o stuttering.

I don't stutter.. but my english teacher said people stutter because they're thinking so fast and can't express it fast enough.

I don't think I stutter, but I am always in a situation where I am not making any sense. This is already bad in Cantonese and even worse in English. I sometimes have odd pauses between words in conversation. I'm trying to overcome this usually by talking slower but this sometimes makes the person I'm talking to to feel really bored. Therefore I always try to contruct the whole sentence in my head first before saying. But thats tiring =.=|||
