Okay, it's been like forever and I still don't get colourizations...
What are they and how do you do them???
Is it when you make something black and white, and then color over stuff with transparent brushes in photoshop??? huh.gif

Colorization -
When you take a grayscale picture and color it. Like so...

Like vectors, there isn't any specific way to colorize. You color and select a layer style that looks nice.

^ That's not true colorization. That's grayscaleing with a colored part to it.

What I do is I make a new layer over the gray image, and set the layer mode to color. Then I use airbrushes to color over the gray image. I try to choose colors that look realistic. You can also play with the transparency of the brushes to your liking.
