i have friends that all smoke weed and drink beer and stuff...im NOT into that stuff at ALL!!!! they all preasure me to do it with them and i say no...and my g/f says that she will break up with me if i do it....i dont want to do it at all...but i do want to have friends...what should i do...

sure my friends CAN be bad influences, because they're mostly legal. so whenever we go kick it, we do the unbelievable. hahaha! we are so bad! but it doesn't mean that they can pressure me in doings things i don't want to. heck i drive, and they respect my decisions. real friends should respect the decisions you make, and how you pick your path. yes they can put a few words in it, but afterall, they should respect you and support you.

okay. first of all, do not give in to peer pressure!!! and if your gf would brake up with you because she does somethings stupid and you're not willing to, you are way too good for her. i say that you could always make new friends and stuff. i gave into peer pressure and started shoplifting. i litteraly became addicted. i got arrested once and it was serious torture. unless you wanna go through the same torture AND wanna die at a young age, then don't do it. but, if you do, then by all means kill yourself. it's just like suicide in alot of cases just more slow and painfuly. and i know there are leagal ways of getting highs rather than drugs. just do what you love to do. i understand you like to dirtbike. i'm sure that you get high off of doing that, but just don't realize that it's still considerd a high. but take my word for it!!!!!!!!

dude, i have like 2 sets of friends....one set is the wunz i luv dearly... and i went 2 elementary skoo wit them, but they're really mark oriented, and kinda ......ionno odd fo me, but ya ma parents like them....

thats why you only hang out with people you get along with and do make the right choices, because there is a possibility they just want you to be like them, and do all the bad things along with them, so a suggestion, try staying away from them maybe? but dont let them pressure you into doing stuff, because thats when you know they arent your friends, me, I only stay with people who try their best, at school, have fun, smart, and make good choices, because I know they can keep me up too.

ah well ... if they're pressuring you that much even tho ur constantly telling them thatz itz not ur thing and that you don't wanna do it, then i guess they're not really your friends are they? friends respect each others wishes and opinions, tell them that, and if they still persist dump them. i know easier said than done, but its the only other alternative you've got other than really testing ur willpower and selfdiscipline. or maybe you should turn the table, pressure them into stopping pressuring you, and to stop doing those things themselves. and since you've got the advantage, considering what your telling them is right, they'll probably back off and start thinking of why the hell they're doing it. i've seen this plan in action ... and it worked the one time i saw it =] so hopefullie it'll do the same foh yooh

those aren't real friends if they pressure you into doing things you don't want to do. it's ultimately your decision on whatever things you want to do with your life. don't let others lead it. don't be afraid to lose people like that because if they care about you they'd respect your decision regardless if it conforms to their opinions or not.. doing drugs isn't good for your body.. i wouldn't reccommend it but as i said.. it's up to you and what you want to do with your life. good luck and i hope you make the right choice for yourself
