Hey --
I've got a little box for my archives on the left side of my Xanga. It doesn't get as many hits as I would like and I read somewhere that having an animated button or gif will help increase hits. How do I put an animated gif behind the archive links, or make a button there so that it will be more eye catching to the reader? Also, where is a good place to go to get free animated gifs? My blog is here. Thanks. |

.... Put it behind it and you won't be able to read anything.
In any case, you just link the image. But what I think you're talking about is similar to a button exchange, it's a link box. [ http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52424 ] The code for images would be... CODE <img src="URL">

No, not a link box. I want some sort of gif behind the archive area so that it will be more eye catching. I will just make the text have a color that will stand out from the picture.
I don't want the button to be the link, not unless there was an indivual button for each link... which isn't a bad idea, actually. So if I wasn't able to do my original idea of one gif behind all the links, then how would I do an individual button for each link and make it clear which story each button was linking to? |
