Lol, okay I went back to previous threads but whatever. I am almost positive I started it? I don't have cramps though... but after I went pee, I whiped myself and it was red.. o.O along with the other 5 times I went... but I don't know if I am on it or not?... It's only a little bit of blood, it's not much but whatever... lol what do you think? :\

[Sorry if that was to much info...]

And my mother isn't home lol.

Final: Hm I started my period on Tuesday, May 31st. *GASSP WOMAN HO0D*
I think I'll tell my mother tomorrow. ;] Along with the rest of my friends wo's jaws dropped when I 'told' them I hadn't started my period. ;]

Thanks for all you guys help, don't be surprised if I come back saying it was a false alarm lol. x] But me thinks it's the real deal. :O

yes, if there's blood when you use the bathroom then you have your period! congradulations! just put in a pad. since ur mom isnt home, if you cant find any, just put some toilet paper in for the time being.

I think you should start off with pads. And then tampons. I didn't feel much of a difference, but you're going to hate your period. Like it could just dieeeeeeeee.

your definitely on your period, as the other girls i definitely suggest pads and not tampons. some people's periods tend to flow more blood than others. so you really do need to get the hang of your period at least 3 months and talk it over with your mom about tampons also. she should have a say. also before using tampons you need to read and learn everything about it for your own safety.

Yep.
I don't get cramps, and I've been getting mine every month for a year now.

Congrats?
I suggest you start out with pads... it's good to ease into things like that and your first one is usually quite light.

Eh, I don't recommend tampons. If you don't like pads wear the small one. Or like put toilet paper.

Congrats! thumbsup.gif
I didnt have cramps when I got mine for about the first year, but haha, now it sucks.
&Id suggest using pads, because Alot of people I know are really uncomfortable with tampons, and most dont ...know where theyre supposed to go. :/

But, now you can have a reason for those vicious mood swings =]

Now that everyone has established the fact that you have just started your period...I think you should stick with pads for a few months....because the flow isn't that much.....besides....pads are actually more safer than tampons and your mom should have an opinion on this....

When I got my first period, it was very heavy and I used a tampon.. so yes, you can use tampons on your first period.
Hey, congrats, you got your first period on my birthday!
May 31 is a sacred day. XD

wee you've had your period! (oh joy)

yea i tried tampons the first time, but you have to have A LOT of will power cuz i got really freaked out when i tried using tampons first.

if you really want to use one, at least wait till the second time. your vaginal muscles will probably be too tight...

oh wait i'm dumb you're probably done now anyway

Congratulation !!!! If you have blood coming out when you pee or on your underwear, that means you have your period. When i had mine the first time, i didn't have cramps though .. maybe you really don't want to have cramps . its not that good .. =/ Use pads, its the best way to start out first. Then if you don't like it sticking to your butt sides, then you can change to tampons or anything.
