Well, I haven't talked to my friend in the longest time, a year I think. So I decided to chat with her. After three days of small talk on AIM, my friend tells me she's talking behind my back, calling me "arrogant." So I confronted her about it, after maybe three hours on AIM she told me she doesn't want to be friends anymore to "spare my feelings."

On saturday, my friend went to her house and she starts trash talking me more. It seems that she's pissed at me for calling her a beyotch after she ditched me to go with some guy...might i add WITHOUT telling me she was ditching me.(This was a year ago also). She also rants about me in her xanga... Anyways, she keeps talking behind my back, my friend keeps telling me about what she's saying, and blah blah blah. How do I make her shut up? How do I make her stop telling my friend stuff about me? I'm pretty sure my friend is sick of it too.

One more question...was she my friend in the first place?

I doubt it, perhaps she wants to make you feel bad. She wasn't your friend, the way she treats you now I don't think so. But maybe back then you guys were really close. But obviously now you lost that connection. Either confront her straight or tell your friend to ignore her and you might as well ignore her as well. Or maybe have your friend say "Look im tired of this, (your name here) is my friend, and i understnad that you don't like her, but im getting sick of it. just shut it okay?"

If she keeps talking to you, that means SHE MISSES YOU. Okay, if she doesn't want to be your friend anymore, she would just shut up and erase you forever.

I agree. For her to be talking about you constantly you must still be on her mind. I wouldnt worry about her. If she is not bold enough to say it to your face then it isnt even worth thinking about. I would tell your friend that she talking things aboutyou to tell her to just drop it.

she was never your friend. tell your friend to tell her to stop backstabbing. and tell her to stop telling people about what you did last year because those things dont matter anymore since what she did was worse.

i agree with tooeffingcrazy, if she doesn't like you or isn't your friend, she wouldn't be talking bout you. she just wants to talk behind your back so that it'll make her feel better about herself. just ignore it
