It looks like silkscreen to me.
That pixel font can be downloaded here:

It will display, because there are alot of fonts I've never seen before and I don't have on my computer, and I'm still able to view them. That usually happens on like instant messengers like yahoo and aim.

It's not silkscreen. You can PM xquizit and ask her about that. I believe it's called "pixel" because I remember seeing Sherry (sherry_vu) mention that about that font. I don't know where to download it, either.

It doesn't have to be a font on your computer, either.
You can embed fonts!
Just look at the embedding fonts tutorial in the tutorials section. (:

Its probably because the font was used on a picture. When it's on a picture it doesn't matter if you had that font downloaded or not.

http://www.core.nu/v8/PP/core_pixelpak_1_win.zip <-- Pixelette. (I think that's it; I saw a preview)

it comes with a few other fonts, but it's all I could find.

1) Download a pixel font. I'm not exactly sure what that particular one is...
2) Embed it. We have our very own tutorial on embedding fonts here: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31934

Then you should be good to go. =]

We're talking about where it says 'dear diary' and all the navigation headings.... Right? 'cause those are images. Sorry.... I just wanted to know what font everyone was referring to.

No, not the Dear Diary thing. The font that is embedded, which is called "Pixel".

The embedded font only works in IE. You use Mozilla, no? It doesn't work in FF either. We see a default font instead.
