Yeah, the edges do seem a bit rough. You may want to fix the hand. The rest looks pretty decent so far. It will probably turn out nicely.

ooh, that looks pretty good except for the jagged lines as you mentioned. i can't wait to see the finished result.

Your shading and colours are actually not that bad, just work on your shapes.
