Hopefully, nobody had started this topic yet, so I'll just ask. How do you like to be asked out by a guy? He likes you and you like him. Do you like to be asked in person, on the phone, or online. And would you want them to surprise you (making a whole scene) or make it obvious?
I would pick being asked in person, and surprising is nice. __+EDIT (thanks for reminding me juliana<3) Do you want them to pull you out from your friends, tell you in front of everybody or just the two of you? |

Hm...the first guy that asked me out was via msn..so..hmm..
But the way I would like to be asked out is in person, or very least, on the phone. A little surprise is good, but I also like a hint. And no, I don't want him to make a scene out of it. Really. Just about anywhere in person is good. |

I would like it in person, and preferably a surprise. Hmm, my boyfriend was going to surprise me: he was going to take me to this cliff place, and there, he would first ask me to marry him. Expecting me to say no, he was then going to say, "well if you won't marry me, will you at least go out with me?" I thought that was nice heh...

Hehe, I teased my boyfriend before answering when he asked me out, because I am cruel. =P First he said, "What would you say, rhetorically I mean, if I asked you out?" So naturally I said, "Nothing. You don't answer rhetorical questions. Hypothetically, I'd say yes." He said later that he was so nervous that the joke kind of helped out his confidence. XP |

i would definately want to be asked in person...and i would prefer it to be just the two of us....somehow...you know? because when im with my friends my friends tend to...i dont know...try their hardest to embarrass me? i mean it doesnt phase me or anything..i just get tired of it...haha...and yeaa....i think that when he's with his friends he tends to act differently too...gets me feeling like he only wants to ask me out to show out in front of his friends and be "pimp"
 so yeaa....in person just the two of us...just how i like it

i would agree with the in person.
but it's sorta stupid how guys are always the ones who are expected to ask the girls out. i mean, it takes a lot less nerve to ask someone out online.. but i would still want to be asked out in person, because that person would show that he was willing to take the chance. a bit of surprise would do nicely. i want my first ask-out to be memorable.. well, they are anyway, but still. something out of the ordinary. lol. and maybe a few close friends around or something, at most. nothing over the top. people always find out eventually. wow. im such a hopeless romantic. |

hm...i woudl prefer being asked out on the phone, i dont know why. not online, because it IS pretty corny. not in person because i would be really nervous and prolly look at my feet. i would want them to pretend that they don't like me first, but then suprise me by asking me out (i dont know why...i like the suprise...).oh and i would want to be pulled from my friends,cuz then i could tell them right then and there (friends r a big part of my life)

i guess it'd depend... usually surprising, and in a sweet way. like some one asked a girl out to 9th grade cruise by putting a message on eagle eye (the school's news broadcast). i thought that was really adorable
so something like that. or just in person, probably in private
