Taste of beer?, What do you think? Options

I'm almost done drink a beer, and I think it tastes like piss. I hate it, I don't even want to drink it to get drunk. I got wasted yesterday, but it doesn't taste as bad as it does right now. I hope I can drink the rest without puking.

beer is definitely an acquired taste. try drinking it on a fuller stomach, it tastes better (in my opinion) if you drink on an empty stomach you'll get disgusted faster

i like the taste of some beers (Rolling Rock, Corona, Sam Adams, Yeungling). But for someone who have not tasted so many kinds and so much of it, beer tends to taste all the same

it's like sushi, oysters, coffee... sorta

don't drink it just to accomplish something... if it tastes like piss, spit it out! you can try other malt beverages like smirnoff or hard lemonade... but those tend to get more disgusting and sweetly nasty after a few.

but, it seems like you're under 21 (oh yeah, so am i... i'm 20) so you really shouldn't start worrying about drinking yet.

besides, after you drink a few, you smell like !@#$. No one wants to be near u cuz ur breath will reek and u won't be as coordinated

side effects of beer/drinking:

-partial loss of coordination (NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE. I almost got hit by a drunk driver when I was walking to the video store. He ran a red light and smashed into someone else, and is going to be locked away for at least several years. and prior to this he went to his friend's house for a few "innocent" drinks of beer. not too innocent eh?

-you will have the illusion that you can sing better

-you will be less shy, so you tend to say and do more stupid things

-you will smell horrible. beer can taste good to some, but it reeks the same to everyone (who's sober)

-u will kill some brain cells. if u drink constantly and heavily, u will get dumber

-there's a lot more, u get the idea

bottom line: u dont need beer and the problems it brings along until later. college is an okay time, i guess. but not too far before that

yuckyuckyuck I HATE beer. When I was younger, we used to travel a lot and I would get thirsty. But my dad hated stopping so he's just give me a beer =P

I was fine and I seemed to like it better back in the day. I like wine coolers. Ok maybe I'm a wimp, but I don't like all that strong liquor either.

Well Macb, im 18 and I just graduated, don't act like you are so far ahead of me. I haven't really done much drinking, that is one reason I probably don't like it much right now. The beer I was drinking was also getting warm, and I was on an empty stomach. I was drinking at home, and I can't drive, I don't even have a permit yet, I should though. I know about the side effects of drinking. But it is nice to have a drink every once in a while, get a good laugh out of anything and everything. . I'll drink safely though, even when I go to college and stuff. Don't want to get drunk and lose my virginity, I've done good keeping it so far (Not that I have had any chances to lose it ). I'm taking a year out before I go to college. Get a job, get some money, get some practice on my music theory. I was drinking Old Milwaukee. Beer is cheap though, most likely because it is fermented piss! .

Beer is a taste that I got used to. I really don't like it much because I need a lot of them to get sh*t faced. Now alcohol, that I love. I like Bacardi 151, Bacardi Gold, Bacardi O, Patron, JD, Absolute Vodka, and Henny. I hate when my drinks are mixed, eww tastes nasty. But yeah Beer is a drink you get used too.

Yeah, I really didn't like Beer when I first tried it, I'm ok when I'm sipping it while talking to people. Normally to get wasted during a long night I just stick with shots or JD and coke or southern comfort and coke, they taste so good put together!

To be honest, I think beer tastes like horse piss. I have kinda gotten used to it tho, because my boyfriends family drinks it like water, so I drink it alot now too. If I had to pick a beer that tested the least like horsepiss, so far I would vote Shiner. But yeah, its an aquired taste. I'd prefer liquor shots or like, hypnotiq. THat stuff rocks my socks off. yumm. I also like drinks like hurricanes and strawberry tinis from chilis YUMM. god I'm such an alcoholic.

There are certainly alot of people who despise the taste of beer. I wouldnt blame ya, i mean the first time i tried it, it did taste like bitter piss.
I dont noe..for some reason now i have acquired some weird liking for beer, not that i drink regularly. I dont have access to even beer, and when i have it at home im only allowed a few sips.
I think it tastes perfectly fine, its pretty good when its cooled too. Im not saying its the best drink out there. Just..i like it =S

I agree that vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol. I've drank rubbing alcohol before, trying to poison myself. I gagged until i puked. Vodka doesn't taste quite that nasty though. Also drank hydrogen peroxide, and that didn't taste very good. I'm lucky i didnt have any of that sweet tasting motor oil that they now made taste bad. Young kids would find some of it and drink it cause it tasted sweet. Killed some young children, so they made it taste bad.

I prefer crown royal and coke. It tastes so good. I want to try some chocolate-chip mint icecream and brandy. strawberry dakeries (not sure about spelling) were alirght. Some wine, watered down with grape juice is pretty good, too. Anyways, I don't drink often, and these are happier years for me than those previous ones where i was drinking stuff to poison myself.
