EDIT // updated images. fixed lips, ears and changed background colors.
yesssssss so it's been months since i've had time to work on a new vexel/vector, but i finally found some time and knocked this one out in a few hours. =] i originally didn't shade the skin to give it a more cartoony feel but then decided to add the shading. let me know which you guys like better.  software: photoshop layers: 134 (recounted and updated) time: 7 hours original image non-shaded version  comments/criticism/suggestions are appreciated. whoa awesome. I like the 1st one the best. Inspires me to try a hand at vectoring...now if only I could find the time...... and like the you said a picture like this need a better title. I cant think right now because its too late....

omg that looks awesome. I really like the shaded one. Punk Princess isn't a bad title. She looks very regal. I love the expression and pose. Anyways if I do think of a better title I'll post it. Right now I'm late for finals. >.<

yeah, that is awesome! surprisingly, i like the unshaded one more than the shades one. the two pieces of colored hair are a great touch that lip ring is hawtt!

I love how you did the vector. I think the flat layered one is better. Because don't you think its a little funny that you have grey and white layers on the face, but the hair and everything else looks pretty flat? The second one also has a more gothic look to it. The whole whiteness of it.
It looks GREAT though! |

After recieving several comments and questions about my layers count, I decided to go back and actually count them. All along, to count layers, because Photoshop names each of your shape layers a number, I would just go back and find the shape layer with the largest number and declare that the layer count. I didn't know that even when you delete shape layers, it counts from the last shape layer you made regardless of how many you've deleted. So, when I counted them today, I got 134 layers, not 173 meaning I may have drawn a total of 173 shapes but only used 134 of them. Sorry about that guys.
And for further clarification, here's a breakdown: nose (3) hair (9) eyes (27) earrings (6) lips (23) shading (38) face/body (28) TOTAL (134) |

Thanks for the comments guys. I haven't decided whether I want to go with the shaded or unshaded one. Eh. Well, I'm sure I'll figure it out and when i do I may just use this in a skin.
