It's not much of a riddle as it is more of a brain buster. It took me so long to make on Photoshop, but whatever. Find the pattern and guess how the last one is shaded. Those were the instructions I got, but I can give hints when needed. I want to see how many people will get it. cool.gif

Which one is the second circle? The one on the right of the first one or the bottom of the first one?

Hmmm...it might give it away. It goes down. The second picture Frankie drew, but it doesn't continue to the next line. It goes straight down from the first circle to the last. The second column has nothing to do with the first one.

You know, Jordan's theory works!

Okay is this how you do it (I'm guessing):

The first column, the third is formed by the first and second. The third and forth don't make sense lol.

The second column, the second and third makes the first, while the third and fourth make the fifth.

The third column, the first plus the second would equal the third. The fifth and the fuoth make the third.

The fourth column, the second and third makes the first, while the third and fourth should make the fifth.

When I say they make each other, that means added the Positions of the black quarter-circles together. Although the first column doesn't make sense. IDK haha.

Wow Christina, you were so close. Your theory was right. The first and the second make the third. The third and fourth make the fifth, but the key thing is that if two quarters overlap, that part is not shaded. Think of it as cancelling out. It works the same for all columns.

Yay, go Jordan and Christina! thumbsup.gif

^ Ohh well see I was thinking of that but I got confused because, either the blacks could be added, or the whites are added, to cancel out. It just depends on one's perception. OOOOHHH now that I think about it, it does cancel out! Smart! thumbsup.gif :D
