I like it when girls make the first move. Shows that they know what they want and do what they can to get it, rather than having the guy do everything when it comes to dating.
Guys don't always have to make the first move. Maybe in the 1950's but it's the new millenium, ladies. So go out there and do it! |

I think for guys and girls alike, they should both try to make the first move if they are interested in someone. For example, if a girl is interested in a guy but is not sure if he is interested in her, the girl should try to make the first move, because otherwise nothing may happen. Girls are not the only ones that feel shy, I am way too shy, and usually don't feel like any girls are interested in me, so I feel like I have to make the first move. Just a few weeks ago, I found myself really interested in a girl at school, which is bizarre for me, I don't pay much attention at all to girls. I've been feeling lonely for a long time, and there were a few years of my life where I was so lonely I hit a rough depression. But for the past year, I've just decided to forget paying attention, to just stay away from the topic so I wouldn't get depressed again. It worked, until Spring came and I've started longing for intimacy. Then I got interested in this girl, I knew her well enough to know she was nice and wouldn't put me down hard if I asked her out. Usually I find those who I like there personality more attractive, and don't really pay attention to the attractiveness of people I don't know. However, I remembered her the year before having an awkward facial shape, but suddenly the awkwardness was a unique beauty that stuck out from everyone else. My friend talked to a friend of hers and she said she had a boyfriend, I felt like I should just give up
 . I haven't though, I am hoping to keep in touch with her in the event that their relationship doesnt work out. I've never had a girlfriend and my graduation ceremony is tomorrow. Guys should make the first move.
From the things I see in school, most relationships are built because the guys made the first move. Only a very few times when the girls make the move and will end up in another happy fairytale storybook. I am sick of guys. I will wait for someone else to swing by and make the first move. & if interested, then I will go out with them. Never again am I making the first move. It's more like telling the person myself. But things go wrong everytime. Especially this time. He kinda guessed it himself and it was confirmed by one of my best friends. So that's when he paid more attention to me and whatnot. Which got me confused, not knowing what his intentions were. Then I have been told by my male friends that when a girl makes the move first, the guy feels all tough and whatnot. So when the girl hangs around with other guys or someone else likes her, he gets jealous and tries whatever it takes to make the other dude get lost. It's so true, after waking up from 8 months of being fooled. Especially when he went around and said other stuff, while he told me different stories. We were never together, and that's what hurt. When we had good times, it seemed like we were together. In the end, we never were. It was more like a more than just a friends relationships, but nobody actually saying we were dating each another and whatnot. Sorry that I'm not making any sense. I just had to rant it out. =[ I don't believe in love anymore. |
