To patch my Uxtheme.dll all I do is run the patcher from Neowin, then restart my computer, and I can use themes, right? For those of you who don't know what I mean, the Uxtheme patcher patches the Uxtheme.dll in order to enable you to use Visual Styles such as this one: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/9240396/. And, do you guys think that this is safe? As long as I back up my old file. I know many people have done this without any problems.

yes, its safe. It can not damage anything. if you decide not to use any themes, and want the Uxtheme.dll to be the same again, just run the Neowin patcher and ill unpatch it.

I do it, it's safe. Just make sure you don't get a poorly-made theme, that can cause problems.
