Nine inch nails, I would say, is definately the most unique/important/influential. And one of my favorite bands.
If there were no N.I.N there would be no Marilyn Manson. (Trent Reznor got Manson out there) A VERY big impact on the music scene....and none of the other bands above have really impacted music in a huge (or even slight) way, although System of a Down is very original. You may think the other bands are good, but many, like Hawthorne Heights, are just built off of other similar bands. Pure shit in my opinion. And I absolutely hate Papa Roach...for obvious reasons. |

You should have added Senses Fail, My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, Metallica, and Pantera. I would've voted for Senses Fail, but since they aren't on there, I voted for The Used. I love their "Buried Myself Alive" Video.

Damnit I got stuck with SOAD and NIN.
but then in teh end after seeing SYSTEM OF A DOWN in concert 8 days ago, I have to say SYSTEM OF A DOWN, *drools* Darren..... <3. anyways, I mean NIN and MAYBE SOAD but most likely NIN will be remem for a long time, The USED and Jimmy Eat world Etc. u know those emo kinna bands are like pass thro's they wont be remem 15.. 20 yrs from now. |

papa roach - i dont really like papa roach. i never gave that much interest to his songs. sugarcult - just too poppy for me i guess but theyre not that bad hawthorne heights - theyre okay but im not a big fan system of a down - theyre really unique and cool but i hardly listen to them jimmy eat world - eh thumbs down they dont impress me too much interpol - not bad but i hardly listen to them the used - wow i love everything about this band audioslave - they have good music =] drowning pool - never heard of them nine inch nails - ehh nope...dont like them |

oh WOWEE i really like pretty much all of those bands!! papa roach, the used, hawthorne heights, and sugarcult and my favorites..goodness hard decision..between the used and hawthorne heights..and papa roach. those are the best three, now to limit it to one is impossible. if i had to do it though, THE USED because they are the best. but hawthorne heights and papa roach are soooo close behind.

My friend (known her since Kindergarten) got a kiss on the cheek from someone in Audioslave and got to ride with them in their tourbus. And my cousin got to interview Jimmy Eat World. Hawthorne Heights are the only ones I really listen to (and like) out of those choices...

I'm gonna have to go with Audioslave
Chris Cornell's voice + amazing experimental guitarists from Rage Against Machine = one hell of a badass band that has now released 2 INCREDIBLE albums!! hawthorne heights hopefully is a one hit wonder, they are not worthy of being put on the same list as these bands (even drowning pool) |

i picked nine inch nails, but i like more of the old school rock, like 60's, 70's, stuff, such as the who, the stones, the cars, jimi hendrix, etc.
