i have seen some people in cb using this font, terminal (size 1) in their posts, which in my opinion i have a hard time reading them.

example:
i have seen some people in cb using the font terminal in their posts.

if you use IE, here is how it will look like in firefox (picture credit: basick)

changing font is ok to me, but changing to a font (or size) that is not readable is an issue.

that gets pretty annoying to me.

so what are your opinions in this font? i believe many cb users switched to firefox from IE.

SORRY i am a firefox user so this font is completely not readable in firefox, but in IE, it is completely alright. i changed the signature since some of you got annoyed by it.

Writing in different fonts doesn't bother me at all. I think it gives the people who post in different fonts more unique-ness. Sometimes I post in kartika size 4...like now. I don't do it all the time 'cause like someone said up there ^ it's too much work.

I think it's annoying how you type in your signiture. mellow.gif No offense or anything. My point is that it shouldn't matter how a person types on here. You can still read it, it's just a bit annoying.

^ Hahaha, so true.

But I don't see why it should matter... If they like the font, then let them use it. It you can't read their post, then ignore it. And I don't see how the terminal font is hard to read... I can read it clearly.

I agree. When viewing using firefox it's all smashed together and you can't read it. But if I use Internet Explorer it's not that bad. If I was still using Internet Explorer I would be okay with it but a lot of people use firefox nowadays.

I thought that, too. But I guess it turns into a habit that you have to do. I sometimes even type this out for xanga comments. wacko.gif

I see no problem with it. Perhaps they really like the font. If you can't read it, you can just quote them to see what it says, or copy and paste it on Notepad. No problem. :D But color bugs me. If it's some blinding green, I'd freak then.

yeahhh .. i know what you mean .. i mean .. isn't saying this tha same thing as saying this ?

it IS too much work .. i mean i can understand italics and bolds and underlines to emphasize, or stressing words .. but font .. it's just a font ..

on a forum , at least ..

cause on IM'ing, tha font is already set for you .. and it shows uniqueness ..

i guess people on cB want to show uniqueness ? .. huh.gif ..

maybe tha people that tYp LiKe ThIs want to show uniqueness, too .. so .. i don't know, this is weird ..

hmm..sometimes I like the different fonts that people use. Maybe not in their signatures, but when they type in forums. It distinguishes from the others and I can easily tell who is typing. I know I can look at their username, but still =)
and I agree with jnukes about using bold/italics/and underline when appropriate.

Eeek wow.. that looks terrible. It kinda hurts my eyes. pinch.gif Sorry, but when I see the font Terminal everywhere, it becomes overused. I see it in people's xangas and even though it's readable since I use I.E., I still struggle to read it, ESPECIALLY if they use all caps. It really annoys me. stubborn.gif But there's not much I can do about it anyways.

What you CAN do is highlight the text, copy it, then paste it onto a blank notepad to read it. It's time-consuming, yes, but better than nothing. Personally, I don't find it appealing when people constantly use different fonts in their posts, but hey they can do whatever they want. I tend to overlook posts with different fonts, so if people feel left out when I post, they should know why. whistling.gif lol

I agree, it does take a little more time when trying to change the font. It's WORSE when people decide to change the font color. I remember a few times when someone would have light blue or light pink font... pinch.gif Haha but then I would end up highlighting the text anyways. wink.gif It gets annoying but bleh.. not something I'd get overly annoyed about.

I've seen people change their font and text EVERY TIME they post. I don't see why they would go through all the trouble. But if they change a font, it's ok because I don't really like this font, either. It's readable and all, but i guess it's not "cute".

i believe it's not just firefox, it's firefox and something about windows that makes the font (which is a microsoft font) not render correctly.

at any size smaller than that (what i posted) it looks like what basick posted.

and can you read that with ease?
