I use windowsblinds. I also have the objectdock thing, but i don't always use it. its like the mac dock. try it out lol.

I downloaded styleXP and used it for a while on my XPProfessional... but I got media center and I like the Energy Blue theme/skin thing... =)

style xp and window blinds slow your computer down. so just get the patched Uxtheme.dll and download the themes from the internet. most the time, their better than the style xp and window blind skins :P

Is the patch 100% safe? I mean, can it damage your computer if something messes up?

you're editing a system file, of course it's not safe...

windows blinds, to my knowledge, runs zero footprint. as does style xp. which means, both don't use memory.

i read it somewhere, and i might be saying it wrong, but the Uxtheme.dll is really just to stop the "unofficial" themes that the machine in trying to use. because microsoft doesnt want stupid ppl to make their own themes and mess up their computer. it really cant mess up your computer, but most themes on the internet are made from pros happy.gif so, just use themes you download on trusted site.

I think window blinds is very, very nice. It doesn't freeze up memory, and there are some NICE styles out there!!
