help xanga blog positioning, onto an image map Options

This is my testing account xanga site. I read through a lot of div positioning codes and it helped a lot. But I'm having problems with my image map. If I have my blog onto the image map- I cannot click the desired spot anymore. If the image is separate from my blog, then it works as an image map, therefore I think I have the right mapping code. (www.xanga.com/lakhesis/)

Currently- I have the image and the blog entry as different layers and took off the left module.

Spent hours trying to figure this out, hopefully you experts can help me!
