Have you ever had tonsillitis (that's when your tonsils, in the back of your throat, get sore and infected.)? If so, have you had a tonsillectomy surgery? Share your experience.
I don't have tonsillitis, neither do I have my tonsils out. But I have a friend, about seven years old, that will go into tonsillectomy surgery this weekend. He is very nervous, and always threatens me to suicide before he takes the tonsillectomy surgery like shooting himself (That kid sure watch a lot of television violence). So I told him that it will be fine, and that, I promised him that he will get three ice cream sundaes in Baskin Robins after his surgery.

i have had it before but i never had to have surgery. it hurt really bad...whenever i woke up and swallowed, it felt like i was swallowing glass!

Heheh true, a perfect excuse to eat lots of ice cream. Nope, I don't have tonsillitis or have my tonsills out. I hope I don't in the future either, it sounds painful...but then think of the ice cream xP

my friend had surgery for that a few weeks ago. she said it was scary. but i forgot what else she said. ><

I remember in 6th grade this kid was out because he had to get his tonsils removed...Everytime he would run, he'd be breathing really heavily because of his tonsils...

I still have my tonsils. Thankfully. I'm afraid of going under the knife. *eek*
I have tonisilitis a lot. My tonsils swell. The doctor says next time, they have to be removed |

Nope, I still have my tonsils, but I have friends who had them removed. They ate a ton of ice cream.

Dear, "suicide" is not a verb.. You cannot "to sucide". Seven years old and he already knows about suicide? Wow.. Just make sure you give him those sundaes. I don't think surgery will hurt.. It's surgery, so they'll put you to sleep, right?

Yes.
When I was very very VERY little I had problems with my throat getting swollen and stuff. It was so serious I was in the hospital at like 3am once a week or more for emergency. Yeah problem was sloved when I got them taken out when I was five. |

i got my touncils out when i was 7 so i don't have tonsillitis but after i got my touncils taken out it hurt.. i woke up one day crying to my parents... also i had a ear ache b/c after they took out my toncils they put tubes in my ear.. so ihad like two surgery thingys.. on january 23 last year to take my tubes out

I almost got my tonsil infected when I was about 4 years old, but they rescued me. I guess there was a cure? But this nurse accidentally put the wrong medicine that my tongue was going crazy... like it was possessed by a demon. But my doctor putted it to sleep... and cured my tonsil. Good thing I didn't remember how they did it. But my whole family saw me doing it. I wish they took a picture so i could laugh it off mwahahaha
