I was reading an Intro from a the book " An invisible sign from my own " by Aimme Bender . I came upon this ;

Hm. I don't know....try to stop people from reproducing for maybe a couple of months until they can make enough items for the people of his kingdom. Uhh, nevermind, bad idea. Maybe I'd just sacrifice myself for my family.

i don't get it...
 if no one ever dies then why would you sacrifice people?  how would the be sacrificed?i'd get a whole bunch of people together and protest/rebel. |

It's a fountain of youth not immortality. It means you can't die of old age, but you can still die of execution. I would probably attempt to get out of that kingdom. It's already corrupted by the "fountain of eternal youth". I'd want to live somewhere where there wouldn't be so many complications.

Hmm.. I'd sacrifice myself. What's the point of living when you don't get to experience what happens when you die? Plus, I might get tired of life by then. I'm already tired of it.
